Beautiful property to stay at the staff was very kind and the place was clean. Even though the power went out on our stay, I wish I got the girls name at the front desk at the time, but she was very kind and helpful. Plus the power being out on Halloween night so kind of made it a spooky vibe which I loved lol

This property has so much potential but it is missing the mark in several basic areas. Our room was dirty. There were food crumbs on the carpet. There were no towels in the room on our arrival and each time the housekeeper cleaned the room, no clean towels were left. The house keeper did not remove the dirty cups and dishes in the room. There was no regular coffee in the room and the lobby coffee maker was broken. And yes, we could have called guest services for these things but the point is, we shouldn’t have to. This hotel has 1 restaurant for dinner. It is desperately needed more options for food and another bar. The breakfast buffet was subpar to put it kindly and not worth $30. The food options in the lobby pantry area were pitiful. Didn’t even have a basic beer option. Some sort of lobby bar would be excellent. Additionally the front lawn area would greatly benefit from fire pits or heaters and maybe some lawn games. It’s a beautiful area but people would like to keep warm on cooler nights when sitting out there. We came across many things that were in need of repair. The light in our room didn’t work. The ceiling was leaking water in my grandmother’s room. The bathrooms near the breakfast area of the hotel were absolutely disgusting. Each toilet in both of the female restrooms were clogged and loaded with human excrement. The lack of elevator should really be advertised. Carrying a stroller and infant up and down 5 flights of stairs is less than desirable.

Been staying there everytime im in the Sleepy Hollow / Tarrytown area since 2005. Wonderful place. Peaceful and quiet and beautiful property. Front desk worker Perry is a very helpful, polite and as kind of a clerk that anyone could ask for.

The property is large and rather sprawling, so it took me a little bit to orient myself. It is also extraordinarily beautiful. The GOOSEFEATHER restaurant is incredible, and breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had in an American hotel!

We didn’t get any information, no brochures letting us know what was nearby. Very challenging getting around the property with luggage. Had to call the front desk twice for coffee pods, they were never replaced after day one. Housekeeping showed up when we were leaving at 11:30 with coffee pods. I would not recommend this place

Be careful not to get a room on the first floor - no cell phone reception. Coffee maker had confusing directions and, ultimately, didn’t work. Breakfast buffet was good but pricey. Real issue is that a large portion of the restaurant’s carpet was FILTHY. Couldn’t eat in peace looking at that vile carpet! Reception area did not provide nor sell toothbrushes. There was no facial soap in the room. Finally, while the front desk worker was helpful at reception, he didn’t explain the cooling/heating system. Froze most of the night.
