My original reservation was made for the Hampton Inn (part of same chain I’m told), when I got there the elevator was of order and health reasons I could not walk up 5 flights of stairs. Travelocity gracefully transferred my reservation to the Hilton and I had to pay difference of 154.50. My problem is when I got there the young lady (11pm) would not let check in until I paid the hotel fee of 454$ plus the 75$ refundable fee even though she could see I had a reservation through Travelocity. She said Hilton does not do that and only accepts reservation made through them. I showed her my receipt with Travelocity for 505$ but to no avail. I’ve had a stroke and was there to go to doctor. I had no choice but to pay. I checked out on Saturday and spoke with manager, he assured me she made a mistake and the amount would not come out as it was pending along with the 75$. On June 1st funds were released to them with exception of the 75$ and your payment made on May 28. So it cost me around 950$ to stay at that Hilton. The manager took my number and promised the moon he would call me. I’ve tried to call Travelocity several times, get disconnected or hung up on. I’m tired of repeating the same thing. Your company and their company took my money. Someone or both should fix this. I’m customer to you long time, maybe no more. Thank you, Linda Moxley 276-233-5019

My hotel of choice in WS

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, friendly attentive staff
This is my hotel of choice when I travel to W-S to visit my Dad. Consistent service, professional staff, delicious breakfast. I find this location to be the standard on which other Hilton Garden Inn's should strive. Great value! No need to go to an overpriced hotel when you feel your in a well-run, clean kept hotel with excellent guest service.

A nice surprise.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
As a business traveler, this place was a step above the norm. Nice room amenities and very clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a variety and was served quickly.

Very nice hotel and a great rate too!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, clean & modern, indoor pool
We stayed at this hotel on our way to Myrtle Beach. It was slightly out of the way but well worth it. Located in a nice area with several restaurants near by. This hotel is fairly new and very clean. Breakfast was great and we would absolutly stay again.

Recommend

I have been a guest of the hotel on three different occasions while in town visiting my Dad. I have been pleased with the friendliness of the staff, clean rooms, and nice breakfast. I'm about to head back again!
