We were given a room on a floor with no elevator access, which the concierge did not mention upon checking in, so we realized after walking to the other side of the hotel that we had to lug our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs by ourselves. After returning to the desk, we were ordered to walk outside ourselves to flag down one of the bellhops outside the hotel to do it for us. I would’ve appreciated a friendly or apologetic tone throughout this whole thing, but the woman at the desk was quite rude about it. Other points- 1) parking is $25 a night and the parking lot is very full, and 2) there is no breakfast included with your stay

Traveled with children and the location was perfect to venture out and find restaurants and entertainment. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the television situation- it was too easy to accidentally order movies or music- especially with a child with the remote control. The movies for children were ridiculously high priced. The good thing is we didn't stay indoors long since we were out and about the whether was decent. But definitely keep an eye out for accidental ordering of media on the TV.

The staff is amazing, the location, rooms were great size at least the studio that we had. Monterey & Carmel very dog friendly so definitely will come back. Lots of restaurants in the hotel, good options hotel is connected to Fisherman wharf so you could walk out to get more of a selection. Things they need to do so the stay would be more relaxing and resort feeling, the room doors needs to all be fix its loud when it closes so when someone left you heard it “very loud”.
