Room and staff were great. Just noticed that the faucet in the tub had been heavily coated with stuff to keep it from leaking. No regular coffee just decaf.. I would stay again though

Clean But Stinky

The property was very clean, bed was comfortable. My only issue was the smell in the room. I couldn't tell if it was smoke from someone previously staying there, or musty from the A/C unit.

Pros: lots of fast food places to eat nearby (Freddy's was great). Super close to target amd walmart and 5mins away from Lost Island. Easy access to the highway. Cons: The back of the hotel faces the highway, and the entryway parking area on that side is unkept and I was not comfortable using that entrance... it felt a little sketchy. At night, there were trucks making lots of noise. It sounded like the trucks were picking up the big trash metal bins and emptying them. There was an annoying beeping sound when the trucks were backing up.

We were extremely upset to find a large area of black mold on the bathroom ceiling. We brought this to the attention of the front counter check-in employee. She said she could do nothing as her manager was on break and proceeded to tell me I must wait 30 minutes for him to return from break. We said we wanted a new room and felt it was unreasonable to have to wait for approval from her manager. Finally she did give us a new room. Later we spoke to the manager and we said that the black mold must be repaired in the bathroom of the first room we were checked into before other travellers are booked into that room.It was totally unacceptable to pay good money and have to deal with a health issue like this! Totally unacceptable.

The hotel was clean. Breakfast was basic but did the job. The grandkids loved the pool. Parking was easy. Burger King next door was convenient. No loud guests which was peaceful. Only negatives: No elevator, so stairs became our workout. Keys kept getting demagnetized which was annoying. Overall, it was as worth the price.

No elevator and no offer to help with luggage for 2nd floor stay. Wasn’t informed of “no elevator” in description online. This alone would have been a deal breaker for me from the start.

Great but…

It was awesome. Except that some of their guest smokes Marijuana and the kids can smell it when we pass by their rooms.
