Book a hotel near Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, Dam Neck

"I only stayed for 1 night. I loved the convenience of how close I was was to the garage..... Atreyu (my dog did not, especially at 6am when everyone was moving around) noted, I'll just ask for a room on a top lvl or not near a garage door. The room was clean, the view was beautiful. I loved the attention to detail. I didn't have breakfast because I wasn't feeling well since I didn't sleep well, those doors are really loud and I was surrounded by 4 that were constantly opening and closing from other guests. To be honest even without Atreyu barking I wld hv heard every door close anyway. I would definitely recommend staying more than 1 night, it was my 1st time in Virginia Beach and I was not ready for what to expect. Now I know 3 nights would be ideal for my next trip. I hv stayed at the Hilton hotels before and love that they allow pets, but I have noticed that most of the time I'm put at a far end where people aren't in and out all the time. This may have been an oversight by the staff this time. I feel bad for everyone who had to hear him going off.... but.... they knew I had a dog and should've maybe been put in a farther corner with less traffic. If I was gonna be there for more than 1 night I wld hv had them move me. Otherwise great hotel everywhere I've stayed!"

"Disappointing.We booked a king bed oceanfront room and received confirmation. When we checked in, only after me verifying it was a king bed, they told me it was two double beds. I showed the clerk ny confirmation I booked a king room. She checjed with her manager as to why the room was changed and we were told they had to do maintenance in the king room and they had no way of getting in touch with us to tell us about the change in rooms and the only room they had left to put us in was a double bed room. They did comp our parking for two nights and a comped breakfast for two. In the room , our coffee pot still had water in it from the prior guest, called the desk, it took housekeeping an hour and a half to bring us a new coffee pot. The bathroom sink only had scalding hot water until about 11pm, at which time there was no water coming out of the faucet. I complained to the manager, he said the maintenance man could come up and work on it but my husband was already sleeping, by morning we did have running water. Great hotel location, but truly a disappointing stay for a Hilton "

"This is an older hotel but more affordable when compared to other options on the walk. The room was awesome, espcially given the jacuzzi facing the walk. This was a great stay. I will book again."

"This was our second time staying at this hotel and once again it was great! We arrived to the hotel for check in and were told they upgraded us to a suite just for booking way in advance. Breakfast was always great as well! Would book again. "
