The hotel was OK for our one-night stay, we just needed a place to sleep for our in-transit in Vancouver. The bed was comfortable. However, the room gets a bit warm and when the AC is turned on, it's quite loud. The windows can't be opened. The area outside felt a bit sketchy at night, it wasn't unsafe, but I didn't feel comfortable walking around alone. In the morning when we checked out, the hotel was doing some cleaning and had water dripping like a waterfall right at the entrance... We had to shout at the employee and ask them to pause the cleaning so we could walk outside - that felt odd.

Nice night stay.

I stayed just one night at this hotel as it was close to my place of work. This older property stands up well. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and well appointed. I will for sure stay again when I have work at this site.

I liked the old building charm of The Met Hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful. The area was ok. Lots of close amenities, restaurants, grocery and pharmacies all close by. My room had a nice view of the river. I was in New West for surgery, The Met hotel was close to the clinic, inexpensive, clean enough and fine for what I needed. I would stay again, its basic but fine.

Enjoyable Stay

Very good location. A few doors from Columbia Sky train station. Good pub attached to hotel. Very interesting location for viewing river and river traffic. A small suburban area.
