Crappy air quality (pets)

We chose the hotel based on website saying no pets allowed except service animals. This proved to be false as the desk attendant told us at checkout they are pet friendly. My wife is allergic to pets in confined spaces. Within a couple of hours, her breathing was more difficult. The air quality was stale, it seemed humid, the temp was 71F. Other than a "sorry", nothing else was offered. We will NEVER stay in a Courtyard again. I probably won't use Hotels.com any more either since they had incorrect pet information. THIS HOTEL SUCKS!!!

Upon entering the room, there was a musty and onion smell. It was the smell coming from the trash in the hallway so I was glad that I didn’t have to change rooms. Beds really comfortable. Staff really nice. Easy to tell it is an older building.
