Le Capitole Hôtel
"Location is right outside the old city which worked just fine. Minutes from restaurants and 10-15 minutes from just about the rest of the upper town so no problem there. Was a little disappointed when you walk into this high end hotel there is a valet guy or two standing there, but they rarely would open the door or even greet us, just talking to each other or looking at their phone, maybe an occasional hello. Then we make our way to an elevator to get up to the main lobby (which was nothing special other than a nice view), and then to get to our room we had to walk down a long hallway and then take another elevator back down to our room. Room was small, but adequate. Sheets were cleaned/pressed but we noticed when we pulled the cover back the first night there were some strange stains so we asked for the bedding to be changed and they were apologetic, offered us a drink coupon (which we didn’t take) and said it would be changed, but when we came back the bed had been remade with the same stained sheets. Asked them again on our way out to dinner (no real apology) and when we came back it was finally changed. No other issues and stay was otherwise fine. Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant our last morning which was very enjoyable out on the patio. I would stay there again, but set my expectations that this is a perfectly nice hotel, but not a 5 star hotel experience."
