Property under renovation, however never saw one person, running the vacuum drywall and debris all over the hallways. At check-in there was one nice young man and another woman who had no idea what she was doing. He had to do everything long line we were with a group of about 20 people with several rooms ants in one room in another bathtub filled up 6inches and did not drain overnight for another one of our friends who requested it to be fixed while we were gone during the day and of course it wasn’t the water was still standing 6 inches high after being gone all day, the breakfast didn’t open until 15 minutes after scheduled time, garbage cans in the parking lot, overflowing and billowing with garbage the only landscaping were tall, uncut weeds and garbage parking lot full of holes terrible pavement . Probably will never stay there again we go to scuba dive in Gibsonburg every year not staying at the low quality inn again. And we were unaware that there was a candle light suites in a Holiday Inn express right across the street, which looked from the outside, at least much better kept.

This motel is absolutely filthy. During my stay, they were bags of garbage left in the hallway, overnight, cigarette butts all over the parking lot. I don’t think my room was vacuumed or swept, because as I was closing the drapes when I was leaving, I found an entire bottle of soda that was not mine, and was obviously left behind from a previous guest. there was dirt and grime everywhere in my room, luckily, I travel with Clorox wipes, and I cleaned everything before I stayed. Even so I kept hand sanitizer next to the bed. The bathroom was OK, although the toilet paper holder was detached from the wall and threatened to fall onto the floor at any moment. I can’t stress enough how dirty this place was. Every glass surface throughout the entire motel was smeared with fingerprints and filth. The hallways were stained with what appeared to be wet, greasy splotches. When you first enter the premise the lobby seems OK, albeit at a little rundown. And the check-in staff was friendly. The property is sprawling, and you have to drive around to different entrances labeled A, B, C, and D. Fine, that was not a problem. No biggie. But, since there is a bar on property all throughout the night, I heard yelling, fighting, cussing, and loud noises up and down the hallway. Fortunately, I have pepper spray with me, and a back up door lock, although I have to admit, I did feel somewhat I’ll at ease throughout my entire stay. Suffice it to see if I could rate this motel in the negative I would.

Property was old and dated. Pool was dirty looking and pieces on bottom was loose and chipped. Tub in room took forever to drain.
