Very displeasing

I wanted so bad to like this hotel and I went into it with high hopes, but sadly the hopes where shattered. Upon our arrival we were created with very friendly staff and a very clean and pretty lobby, but then we got to our room.... The smell was moldy and yuck. The sheets had makeup stains on them and some of the bedding was damp. The air conditioner had dead bugs all over it, the hot tub was so dirty and had dried candle wax above it. The mini fridge was not at all clean and the wallpaper was literally peeling off the walls. Oh, and the toilet did not flush properly at all. We would need to flush five or six times just for it to properly flush. The area felt safe and the location was very convenient but the experience in the room itself was not good. Very disappointed

My recent one-night stay with family was truly wonderful, and I was particularly impressed by the location, the staff's service, and the overall cleanliness. The complimentary continental breakfast was also a delightful touch.

I read reviews prior to booking and it seemed fine. The bed sheets and comforter were dirty (loose dirt and hair) I tried to call the front desk but the telephone was not even connected (no cord) so I walked down to front desk and they handed me a set of sheets with no offer to strip the bed and change the sheets. I will not be back.

Toledo hotels are extremely expensive, so we found Perrysnurg to be an excellent option This hotel had a bit of age to it with old carpets and old sheets but it is being well kept, bathroom reno and the breakfast is good. We also like the shopping available. Staff here seem stretched but very kind.
