We paid for room advertised,. When we arrived at hotel they gave us cheaper rooms. For many years Marriott has been my hotel of choice, however times are changing. Our experience with this Marriott was VERY disappointing. So disappointing we tried to leave . They said because we booked through Travelocity we were locked into this nightmare agreement. The hotel was very musty had a moldy smell. The moldy , musty smell was engrained , the smell permeated throughout the hotel hallways and rooms. The key cards did not work to get into the rooms. The desk had to send someone to let us into the room due problems with lock malfunction. The bed linens were NOT CLEAN . My pillow smelled like someone slept on it with bad breath and the hotel did not change the pillow cases. The sheets and covers smelled like stinky feet. This was a very disappointing experience, so unlike the quality I had grown to expect from Marriott. If a person has respiratory issues or allergies this is not the place to stay. The air quality is very poor. Marriott need not just take my word concerning these issues . Marriott quality assurance staff needs to checked these issues out first hand . My family wanted to book elsewhere where. I would not let them because of the former excellence I had experience with Marriott before COVID . But I guess Marriott's former glory days no longer exist. VERY DISAPPOINTING
