This place is centrally located right in the heart of anime in ikebukuro which we like. Overall the room is dated and the bed is soft. The lights in the room are rather dim. The washroom is standard but a deeper tub and greater amenities inside with lotion, face oil, face wash, cleanser, and your standard body wash, conditioner and shampoo. Overall the two day stay was good for what we paid. Second time was great, staff at front desk spoke fluent English and was easy to understand.

Canadians here. I've been in Tokyo many times, in many hotels, this by far has been my favourite mostly because the level of service and kindness from the staff is amazing. The rooms are big by Tokyo standards but could use some upgrades (although that would probably impact the affordability of it).

The staff was the same in 2024 as it was 1 year later and they even remembered me from the year prior. They were all so nice and very welcoming. The smoking section is nice and comfortable and has a covered section for during rain. The rooms are nice and big. It's also nice that there are 2 conbinis right downstairs. But the food options nearby are also very good. 10/10 on all 3 of my stays here.

It is situated in a great area with a lot of options for dining and entertainment. The room was spacious enough and quiet but plugs were limited and the blanket felt cheap They provided shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. I found that it was expensive for what they provided and the kind of room it is, maybe it is because of where it is situated.

The main plus for this hotel is the location. About 7mins from Ikebukuro Station. 7/11 right next to the hotel and many shops and food places within walking distance The hotel itself is very dated. Rooms feel small and dusty because of the room lighting and layout but it is actually clean. Staff are friendly and can speak English Stay here if you are not too fuss about the negative things and want to be in a convenient location
