"Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!"

"So I’m leaving this review here because it’s what we booked, but we actually ended up staying at the property next door (the Flat) because after booking we asked Lisa if she was able to accommodate us one night early. There was someone staying in the Tiny Home that night so she let us know that the property next door, The Flat, was available both nights and we could stay there instead. We were happy to accept and thankful she was able to make the adjustment for us to come in one night earlier. The two properties sit side by side and the location is fantastic! We were in town for the Polar Express train ride with the Great Smokey Mountains Railroad. Since we were able to come in one night earlier, we were able to spend the whole day exploring Bryson City. Since we stayed in The Flat next door, let me leave some comments about that place since that’s where we were, but I will go ahead and say the tiny home looked like it was just as nice and comfortable from what we saw on the outside and we’d happily stay in either of these rentals again! The Flat was clean and had plenty of space for us (my husband and I with our 12 year old son). Our son was looking forward to the loft bed he’d have slept in with the Tiny House, but the Flat allowed him his own bedroom which was wonderful. The property manager correctly describes the accommodations and what you can expect to find and use as well as what you may need during your stay. We didn’t need anything and had everything we needed! "

"We had a wonderful stay! The home was extremely clean, comfortable, and truly pet-friendly. Communication was excellent, we were even notified that the place was ready early and offered early check-in, along with a thoughtful travel playlist and clear checkout instructions. The hot tub was freshly cleaned and serviced on the day of our arrival. Everything was within walking distance as described, and the home itself is beautiful. There are a few stairs to the upstairs area, but my parents had no difficulty using them, especially with the handrails provided. The fenced backyard was perfect for our fur baby. We would absolutely stay here again! "
