"The STEEP one lane road up to this house is worth the white knuckles! This house is so perfect. We went for a girls' weekend and had the best time. I would highly recommend arriving during the day so you can have your bearings and see because for the novice mountain driver, it can be daunting. But, again....SOOO worth it. The only suggestion I would make would be to have drapes on the windows to pull at night - my imagination went into overdrive after dark with the living area so open. But, in the day time, it is wonderful. We took a train ride on the Nantahala (GSMR), which I would highly suggest. The next day we climbed Kuwohi, which I would also highly suggest doing. We ate a the sweetest locally owned restaurant in Cherokee (Paul's). Each afternoon we came back and sat on the porch for a few hours. It was perfect! I would highly recommend staying here and hope to come again in the future. "
