"Yes, the room was clean. and the staff was very helpful and the room had all the usual amenities. The Sunday buffet was pricey at almost $40 a person. The selections were the usual but there were many gourmet ones, the latter being awesome, eg gooseberries, dragon fruit, buratta, grapefruit brûlée with maple mascarpone and pistachios, greek chicken pea salad, citrus cured salmon, charcuterie with the small pickles, chickpea hummus, Pandebono (cheese bread), nicely opened rambutan, ham with vegetable and queso fresco frittata, and there was a slab of honeycomb that one could serve oneself! That was a memorable meal. The hotel even has a bot that is always checking up on you."

"The room was nice, the staff were excellent - from the two valets, the two different front desk attendees and housekeeping would smile and greet. Only complaint is they will not accept cash in the market store…thought it was still legal tender but I guess businesses have a right to request payment in chickens if they prefer. "

"TLDR: -great room -awesome shop -friendly staff -nice bar/restaurant -the beach! We stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise the following day. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I knew the room wasn’t supposed to be ready until 4 so wasn’t shocked when, at 1, it wasn’t ready. The kind valet held our luggage while we waited. Front desk employee told us to feel free to go to the beach, pool, restaurant, whatever. Checked out the beach (absolutely wonderful) and then had lunch at the outdoor bar/restaurant. Delicious burger & fries and a tasty lobster roll! Servers at restaurant were all quick and nice! Received a text about 3:40 stating the room was ready. We booked an ocean view through expedia which is what we received. It was wonderful. What a view! Large windows with a slider door to the “balcony” (more like a ledge, but *shrug*). Being able to see and hear the ocean all night was great. Room was nice. Bed as comfy as any hotel. Air conditioner was a little loud, but didn’t bother us. For dinner, didn’t want to go back to the restaurant (kind of a small menu to eat twice a day) so we checked out the shop. If you want to save money and have delicious food, hit the shop. Amazing cuban sandwich (which they kindly heated). Also a nice little selection of beers and wines. So we enjoyed beer and sandwiches in the room while watching a movie. For breakfast, shop had a fantastic chorizo burrito & bacon egg cheese bagel (both heated). Will stay again!"
