The room was nice, open and inviting with a touch of up-class but when using shower or hearing the refrigerators compressor kick on you realize that the place is more the look then the quality, much like checking into the hotel. There is no clear area to go to and having to stand in a room with no Direction is very awkward. Mike the front manager was not very helpful as he was just going through the motions of training a new staff member which really just destroyed our experience checking inn. He was more concerned with teaching her and not help us. He gets zero stars for treating us like garbage. We had an issue with our credit cards because we were traveling out side our state and our credit cards locked us out. He made us feel like trash. We had cash and could pay upfront but he choose to train the employee on policy instead of service not a good choice especially since we saw another guest pay with cash while we waited 25 mins to get checked in with no acknowledgment of us even standing their in a lobby with no one else but someone paying cash and mike laughing it up. Then for him to tell us that we don’t have a room was just the worst, a room booked month in advance and we have a problem he doesn’t even try to help us. Not recommending this place ever but might tell everyone the stories of the people that frequent this place

Staff is like family

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for almost a week. We originally chose the hotel because of the affordability and really didn't know what to expect as most other rooms in the area were $50 or more per night. Our room was nice and comfortable and the staff was, without a doubt, the most helpful, friendly and considerate we have had the pleasure of meeting. We were unfamiliar with the area and the staff patiently and clearly answered all of our questions. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Cold Hotel

Overall this place was nice. It was about 10 minutes from downtown Syracuse. We stayed in a two bedroom queen suite. My complaint is that we told the hotel that we had 5 guests and that the pull out sofa in the living room would be used and they never supplied sheets or blankets. Also, we froze the whole night. The heat was not working. We had it up to 77 but it kept pumping out cold air. \n\nThe hotel was around a Denny's, Ruby Tuesdays, Dunkin Donuts and a stone's throw from 90 (but you would never know it). It was 5 minutes to other restaurants etc.\n\nOverall it was an okay one night stay.

not worth the money

Stayed at this hotel during the summer months. It was a terrible ordeal. After a one week stay at this hotel, another guest informs me that the hotel is going to be renovating and I would have to move to another room. After consulting with the front desk, I indeed had to relocate to another room and floor. The staff was not cooperative with my move. After exhausting myself with my move, I did not have any time to enjoy my stay. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. After going through that, I was not given some kind of compensation for my headache.
