Wonderful hotel in a great location with multiple breakfast areas nearby and a large option for asian cuisine a short walk away. Subway and buses are nearby to use your Opal card. Pool is small, but you got the whole Bondi Beach to go to.

The room was spacious (king bed + sofa bed). Upon arrival, the sofa bed wasn’t made and when we opened it the mattress had some food remnants on it. Overall room looked mediocre due to tired furniture and walls in the bathroom. Coffee machine with capsules and tea selection was great. The staff was very helpful. The hotel states its rooms are soundproof which is not exactly the case - but also not the worse.

This was my first time staying at Vibe, and I chose it because I really like the location near World Square and Hyde Park (with easy access to public transport and a Coles supermarket). I really enjoyed all the food and drinks we had from The Storehouse Restaurant & Bar (we had bar snacks, dinner and room service). The customer service we got from Harvey was exceptional - he is so friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was bigger than I was expecting (previous guest photos don’t do it justice - it’s a great space & the pool is lovely early morning and evening on hot summer days). The gym is a lot bigger than many hotel gyms. There were always plenty of pool/gym towels available which is not always the case at hotels. I was pleased with my room size and amenities, and the reception staff were always helpful. I found the room servicing a bit patchy, but I find that in almost every hotel these days (they don’t seem to ‘clean’ the bathroom or vacuum any more - rather they just drop off fresh towels and make the bed). The weirdest thing that happened was I asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, which arrived promptly, then the next morning the cleaner took it away again! And two of the nine days I didn’t get a handtowel or bathmat. So the room servicing is an area for improvement. But I would still stay here again - as overall experience was positive.

The room was clean, the hotel is close to most things. The only annoying thing was the sound of doors banging from before 7am. Not sure if it was staff or other guests, but a bit more sleep would have been great. Otherwise no complaints

We arrived early and were told our room would be ready at 3pm. I paid in full for the 4 nights we had booked. We returned to the hotel at 4 to find there was no room for us! ....we'd already paid in full that morning. We were put up in a different hotel that night and returned the next day. We were upgraded which was a nice gesture however i wonder why the room availability wasnt noticed when i paid in full in the morning. The breakfast buffet was very poor quality. The hot items were not hot and many items ran out and we had to ask for more. More dtaff in the breakfast room might help.
