Room was good except one bedside lamp was not working. With such a large TV of a night the SAMSUNG TV logo gleams bright all night facing the bed directly. (It's like having a moving light on...) The only alternative seemed to be a blindfold or equivalent. Also with the fob card inserted, a strong overhead light is illuminated. (ie. The fob card must be removed to sleep). Only problem with the fob removed, the AC doesn't work, so temperature issues. (hot and or cold)

Renovated & compact

Rooms much smaller than previous Cambridge Hotel. Pillow was too high & hard & only found out at checkout smaller pillows were available from reception- a notice in the room would have been appreciated. Used my jumper and a towel as a pillow. View from room on second floor was of an ugly wall & pipes - a green screen would lift the outlook immeasurably.

Appreciated seating option other than bed, in house restaurants, coffee shop and close proximity to multiple bus lines - short bus ride to harbor and CBD. Leafy neighborhood all sorts of dining options within short walk. Grocery store 1 block away.

2 nice dining options available on ground floor, one open breakfast/lunch the other dinner. Very walkable neighborhood with lots of dining, bar and shopping options. Not all rooms are configured the same. Suggest requesting a room with street view. Staff welcoming. Multiple bus routes within a block or 2.

This hotel is only popular because of the price. It feel unfinished in parts. Bed is uncomforatble, my upgrade felt like a downgrade as my room was next to the left and had a balcony that I wouldnt use and a weird spare room with an odd seat in it.
