Poor service. Despite an email well in advance of arrival asking for advice on New Year’s Eve celebrations we had no reply. On arrival the girl checking us in was clueless and could not help us at all. Other staff were also without any knowledge at all.value for money is poor. Hotel is all about making profits.

Quick and easy check-in. Great location on a less-busy road but still in close proximity/walking distance to the main attraction and shopping areas, especially the King St Wharf and Darling Harbour. Very clean and quiet hotel with exquisite architecture. The amenities may be a bit lackluster compared to its competitors, but for guests who will spend much of their time out/ around the city, this hotel may fit the bill. This hotel is also a common pickup spot for tours so that helps to make arrangements much more seamless. Complimentary beverages in the fridge and replenished each day. Housekeeping/laundry services were quick and accommodating. I did not get to check out the pool or gym but I probably didn't miss much. Very cold air conditioning and hot water were a plus. Breakfast was typical of any other hotel; lacked seasoning but was plentiful. Gluten-free breakfast options included toast and a few pastries and cereals (I hope there is a gluten-free pancake mix available in the future). I enjoyed the veggie juice blends! Overall, The Grace Hotel is a great place to stay in Sydney.

I use to love this hotel but after making a mistake with my booking dates and didn't realise until I rang to ask why my room was not cleaned and missing Alcohol taking from the fridge. I get a knock on my door with the Duty Manager and security saying I was in breach of security and informing me I had not paid and should not be in the room I was in total shock and showed what I had booked I was treated like I was a criminal and was marched down to pay which of course I was more than happy to! On check in the receptionist could have told me this. 4 times I had to go back and forth to reception as the cards didn't work. I gave a tip to the cleaner who was about to clean my room and got locked out her house keeping manager refused to let me back in even though the other cleaner saw me in the room! She tried to tell her head house keeper who just ignored her English wasn't the best so I don't blame her she was lovely that's why I tipped her! It was just a horrible experience the Duty Manager at first was horrible to me wouldn't even let talk just assumed I was trying to stay in the Hotel for free..I was given a bottle of wine it doesn't really make up for the way I was treated.
