Good hotel with many amenities

Rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. Parking is a bit of a challenge especially for the physicaly challenged. Valet parking is very expensive.

We booked our stay at this hotel through Expedia, but our experience at check-in was extremely frustrating. I wanted to pay with a different credit card, but the front desk staff insisted that none of my cards would work. After trying three different cards and feeling embarrassed (there was a long line behind us), we requested to cancel the booking. However, the staff told us we’d have to contact Expedia, which was not an option since it was too late, Expedia stated. Eventually, they suggested paying by debit card but required a $500 deposit, which I refused. After some back and forth, we paid for the room with my debit card, only to find out later that we could pay the deposit with the credit card that had supposedly been rejected. Once in the room, my husband contacted our credit card company, who confirmed there were no issues and that the problem was with the hotel entering the wrong CVC code. Needless to say, we were frustrated and upset. The next morning, during check-out, we were hit with an unexpected “resort fee” of $23 for using the pool and fitness room. When I asked why this wasn’t included in the booking, the front desk gave a vague answer. Given the poor customer service and added charges, it’s safe to say that my family will never return to this hotel.

The River Rock Hotel is a shadow of its former self, this hotel is now filled with hockey families, kids running up and down the halls, worn out rooms and broken elevators. Room was clean but worn down with squeaky chairs, a surprising amount of scratches and gouges on every surface. The 'resort fee' seems like a parking fee as there's no perk nor benefit aside from parking on the other side of the property. Restaurants are over priced and not impressive, luckily the surrounding neighbourhood has many fantastic restaurants.

First time at the property, lots of easy to read signs for Valet Parking but very few for self parking...Self Parking seemed a very long walk with suit cases so opted for the $33.00 Valet parking, That stat was amazing and very helpful so on the long run would do that again...Front door drop off and Front Door exit

Nice hotel but very few good dining options that are a reasonable price and bot really close to anything else. The skytrain is there so you can get around. Also there was a severe lack of public bathrooms unless you were in tge casino. Food court in casino is not good.

It was VERY quiet for a Casino. Eating options were good and the hot tub was nice. The side chairs were rather uncomfortable in the room and so was the bed. Otherwise, the view and ease of access to everything was fantastic!

We stayed one night in a king room overlooking skytrain. Noise was negligible. Bed was comfy. Large bathroom. Lavassa coffee maker, 3 pods. Fridge, 2 bottles complimentary water. I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the Lounge restaurant. The gentleman that served us, twice, was very friendly n efficient. The entertainment, Irish Rover, was delightful ! Nice theatre.
