"Good basic room for the price. They have a grab and go breakfast of snack bars and oatmeal but the room came with 2 breakfast vouchers for Denny's next door with a limited menu. Our room faced the freeway but it really wasn't too loud. Argonne is under construction (July 2026) so traveling north was a pain but we typically traveled off peak times. The housekeeping and front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was not full when we got there but only had 1 room left when we looked to extend our stay for the weekend (we didn't). The parking lot was full but the hotel wasn't loud or crazy feeling. They do need more ice machines but you can use the one in the Super 8 next door apparently. We could have used a bigger in room fridge (it was the cube sized one) but we made it work. The room didn't have a dresser but we used the luggage rack and closet. We didn't use the pool/hot tub or on-sight laundry but I saw them both - looked well maintained. There was a game table in the breakfast room - foosball I think. They shampooed the carpets in the stairwell while we were there. In general seemed well maintained."

"We didn't use the resort amenities, but the hotel is nice with a good restaurant attached. Lovely river walk beside hotel. Walking distance to a good river park. Interesting exposed basalt formation across from hotel."

"We found the facilities to be clean and well maintained and all our interactions with staff were very pleasant. One pleasant aspect not particularly common was 12pm checkout and extended breakfast hours. Other reviews note excessive vagrancy in the area which unfortunately is accurate but entirely the result local policies. We felt perfectly safe and the establishment is clearly engaging in best possible efforts to keep that environment outside their boundaries."
