Very Nice it was clean. Beautiful area. Our room was good size.Everyone was very polite. The only thing that it was a little loud. If you can sleep with loud music great. They turn off the music until 11:00 pm.

Our check in was at 4pm, waiting almost 1 hr before it was our turn. Maybe check in should be at 3 or have more ppl working the front for the rush. We went by at 3.45 and they made us wait. Till 4. Over all everything else was good!

Horrible experience

Terrible experience! The hotel is old, rooms have lot of humidity, the A/C was leaking the whole time, bathrooms are extremely small and not safe. The fire alarm was activated by mistake, and the horrible noise scared my baby, he cried for like an hour because of this. You can hear what happens in the room next to you, our first night the TV in the room next door was on and extremely load, it was on from the moment we arrived (7pm) till 2am! We complained in the front desk and the room was empty! Someone left the tv on using a very high volume. We had to enter the room and turn off the tv, since the hotel personal couldn't do it. Cockroaches in the room and bugs in the pool, I left the pool with 5 bugs in my back. Never staying here again.

Proximity to beach is great. Our room was not clean, stains on the bed cover, sink didn't drain, shower caulk was moldy. The door to the bathroom didn't close because the bottom had swollen from water damage. Was not provided any instructions at check in, restaurant hours, beach access or even wi fi. Had to keep calling down to find out. The phone was not picked up most of the time.

Not bad for the money

The check in and check out process of this hotel is very very slow. They need to figure out a better way to get people in and out of here we stood an hour just to check in and we have been at the resort four hours prior because we came early. They should have us some kind of a system get a to where when it gets close to check in time. Families are alerted able to stairstep and check in checking out there’s still a line some hotels have automated check out where they just put the bill under the door or email it to you.

I am 100% disabled and the ocean view room was in another building over 100 yards away . I had a knee replacement not too long ago and had to sit three times before we got to the building. We wanted to get our monet back but they said we had to talk to expedia . We stayed but we got a different room in the main building. Someone should have told us that the ocean view rooms were in a different building and that the walk was very long to it. I will only be satisfied with you making me whole.

I’m not one to complain. I actually hate being the “Karen type” but someone needs to shed some light on this hotel. The cleaning staff was great. The language barrier was sometimes difficult, but we made it work. Their pricing for their bars, the indoor one and outdoor before going to the beach had different pricing for the same exact drink. And yes, it was the same day just different times. The following day I get the same drink and it’s even more. I don’t mind paying, I just like consistency. To speak with the front desk I had to call several times to finally get someone on the phone while I was staying. Before I stay, I tried to call a day prior just to verify my booking and no one answered. In one occasion, I found water leaking out of the elevator shorting out one of the lights in there. I mentioned to one of the staff but I never saw anyone address it. Ate breakfast 1 time at the restaurant. Have to say, the service was absolutely awful. Took forever to get drinks, refills and food. Waited over 20 minutes for toast. Just regular toast.

The Customer Service front desk staff Gabby in particular was unprofessional and non-responsive to courtesy emails she sent. All the staff was trained to say was Sorry! When we asked for the Managers phone contact information I never received a response from Gabby. All our request were ignored. We will never stay at any Holiday Inn anywhere again!! The service was terrible. For this being a resort it’s far from it!!
