This hotel is in the best location of Monterey. It is walking distance to things and the trolley stops right in front of the hotel to pickup and got to nearby places for free. The restaurant overlooks the ocean and food tastes really good. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating; i would say it is the best service from hotel staff that I have received. Valley is quick and efficient as well. Everything was positive and made my vacation a delight; I will be staying here in the future again!

Awesome Monterey vacation!

Monterey Hotel and Spa was great. We had a very peaceful and relaxing time. Loved that we could walk to town and restaurants. Many things to see and do.

Not What I Expected

Well the room size and view for full ocean view was not worth the cost. Nearly 2k for 2nights which could be spent on an all inclusive resort. I didn’t realize I wouldn’t have a balcony for this price which was also very disappointing. You can hear people on the beach and in hallways very well. The elevator seemed a little off as the door would open early and late. The rooftop jacuzzis are packed. There’s only two and a lot of people on the weekend. The best thing about this place was valet and their customer service, which is an extra fee.
