The owner was very sweet , put us in a corner unit.. came to make sure we got in the room. My friend uses a walker… very nice ! Room was clean … I only have one disappointing thing to mention, I’m glad they aren’t wasteful in use of soap, etc. but I didn’t bring shampoos, etc. they only gave us small pkgs.. I had to use three .. Other than that , I’m pleased with location, etc. Mattress was a bit lumpy, but it was s clean room

Rooms were dirty, tons of hair on the floors and the bathtub. One of the rooms had small flies (kind if like fruit flies). Rooms are out dated. No ironing board or iron in the room. No USB plug. Definitely not worth the money spent. Will not come back.

I have stayed here a couple of times. Check-in is easy and the rooms are clean. There are plenty of towels and the ice machine works great. We stay here for the convenient location to the dive shop next door. My son also used the doggie daycare nearby.

The property was located on what I believe to be one of the main streets in Monterey, Which was convenient. However the property has no pool no Jacuzzi But the owners were nice enough.

This was the worst motel I have stayed in. To say it is a dump is an understatement. Clerk was very impersonal. Walls so thin you can hear people talking next door. Mold and disrepair in bathroom. Noisy location also. I would recommend Travelocity remove this dump from their list. Don’t anyone stay here.

Pros: nothing
Cons: need to be completely remodeled; needs new everything - new furniture, new beds, new bed linens, new towels.
This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I would have rather been camping. I prepaid the room so could not get a refund and I ended up staying at another hotel in the area. So had to "eat" the $325 room rate. This should be removed from Travelocity and any other hotel booking websites.

Wouldn't take much to make this a great stay!

Great location, customer service is efficient, exterior of complex has charm. Nice size refrigerator, cable and flat screen TV and free WiFi. Staff is all business, don't expect much more than that. Rooms could use a few low cost items that would bring them up to date. Room had a weird stench, shower curtain had some stains. Overall feel of room was of that of a very low end hotel that experiences heavy traffic. I mean, bed was made and all was on its place but it just wasn't clean.

Just a place to sleep

The room is basic by no means spotless the sheets had holes in them and the towels are paper thin even for two peolpe i would recommend you request extra if you expect to dry off completely. There are only about 20 rooms total the clerk was not friendly at all just kind of through the key on the counter and didnt speak much. The parking spaces are tiny we have an Ford F150 and we didn't fit in any of the spots. The beach is at least 1 or 2 miles like clerk said "go to the first light and walk down the path you will eventually find it"

Clean but disappointing

This hotel is clean and safe....and that's about it. Although it is a very low price, we were still disappointed in the room. Not a good value. It is small and very basic. The other reviews don't paint an accurate picture. There is a lot of road noise and the walls are thin so sounds bleed in from other rooms. Bathroom towels are thin and tiny. Although the room was tolerable we will be staying somewhere else on our next visit.
