"Great, central location. The sights of Otaru were walkable and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby (although be warned yhat Otaru gets very quiet at night and most things close early). The hotel is very traditional (some might say old fashioned) but it was clean enough and comfortable. ..."

"The hotel is in the best area on the Otaru canal, it is a bit older but still very nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Very nice for a couple of nights. It also has an onsen which is rare in the area."
