The hotel gave me a lovely room with a view. However, the shower water was only lukewarm and the water pressure was unacceptable. The hotel had maintenance come to inspect the issue. I was told the pressure met standards and offered a room move at 9 pm on my second night. I declined because moving rooms at that time would have been disruptive. The hotel was also hosting a furry convention. Large crowds in masks and costumes overwhelmed the property. The elevators were so overcrowded we had to wait over 10 minutes to get from our floor to the lobby. I was not informed of this prior to booking and would not have stayed here if I had known. I was disappointed and experienced significant anxiety during my stay.

The Seattle Hyatt Regency is in an excellent central location, just steps from Pike Place Market and surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. The lobby is beautiful, and the rooms are very clean with a modern, upscale feel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the large TV was a nice touch. We stayed on the 32nd floor and had fantastic views of the city, which really added to the experience. There were a couple of downsides. Despite having six elevators, waits were surprisingly long and sometimes took up to 5 minutes. Our stay also coincided with a large convention, which made the hotel feel extremely busy. I would recommend visiting when there is not a major event taking place. The biggest issue by far was parking. The hotel did not have adequate parking available for guests, and we were forced to park in an offsite private lot that cost $60 USD for 24 hours with no in and out privileges. This significantly limited our ability to explore beyond walkable areas and was a frustrating surprise.
