Oasis is charming and quaint with newly modeled rooms (well, our were). The only challenge that we encountered was that the bathroom doors are very narrow. My mother is in a wheelchair and we were not able to push it through. Luckily the rooms that we had, the toilet was just on the opposite side of the door. The location is close to many things; free parking and Wif.

the small garden next to the pool is very pretty and the single level rooms are probably great. My mom and I ended up with a unit above us and very noisy neighbors...the floors were thin and we heard them walking around and then screaming at each other during the early morning hours! It is in a good location for walking to some quick places to eat and easy access to the freeway and to downtown Santa Barbara.

Not really an Oasis

Pros: Close to the parts of Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez.
Cons: Breakfast quality Exterior grounds Heating air conditioning system
I needed a basic hotel room because I was planning on visiting the Santa Ynez valley and parts of Santa Barbara. The room was old but OK. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was ok but no vent so it was very steamed up after a shower. The heating / air system was bad --either hot or cold no real temp adjustment. Room #7 was adjacent the back alley...heard everyone coming and going not to mention the security light going on and off at every movement...cats, people cars... the grounds were ok but not well kept lots of weeds and organic trash. Parking was tight. The AM breakfast was poor. Not restocked...a very first come first serve...basically cleaned out in 1 hour.

Attending Granddaughter Wedding

Pros: Quaint and great personnel plus the cost was very reasonable.
Cons: Nothing I can think of!
Location: Didn't stay long enough to answer this. Was a quick trip for small wedding of granddaughter.
We arrived about 6pm on the 29th in the rain. Clerk was gracious and placed us close to parking. Room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was the BEST and largest I've ever had. I would definitely stay at the Oasis again because the personnel was so caring!!

Bump in the road.

Double charged me. I initially paid in full, on line, then was charged upon arriving. I tried explaining to the desk manager that the room was already paid in full, but he argued with me that it was just an authorization on the card. Well, I was doubled charged. It was a mistake on his part he admitted afterwards. I was irritated by this. Over priced for the accommodations.
