No idea how this hotel got a 9.2 rating other than how centrally located it is in the old city. First room was musty and had no windows, paid 500 baht a night on site for upgrade, the next room was better but bed was like sleeping on sheet of plywood. I prepaid 2 night but only stayed for 1. This resort was amazing. Probably my all time favorite. The service is great and the rooms are huge and well appointed with a water feature in the bathroom. It’s small enough to quickly get around yet has everything you need.

Kampaeng Ngam Hotel
Room was ok. Although was greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom upon arrival but it’s quite normal. Aircon needed to be cleaned, full of dust and very slow. Bed was okay, pillows too.
