Fell short of a 5 star hotel, having stayed at a Melia hotel in the past, however acceptable for the affordable price point. Room, service, amenities were a solid 4 star. It catered to large tour groups so service did not feel personal. Service was average, with staff not always the most helpful or knowledgeable, I expected more.

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We (a group of six) stayed at the level premium rooms which is super spacious. Love most the shampoo and handwash as they are of nice fragrance which I like. All very well except the drain in the showers were relatively slow. Also, coffee from the buffet breakfast was worth highlighting. All of us had a great stay at this hotel. Will stay again next time when we are in chiang mai!

I had a wonderful stay at Melia Chiang Mai. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a great view of the city. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of Thai and Western options. The hotel is also in a very convenient location, about a 10-minute walk to the Night Bazaar and close to the Old City.

Booked here very last minute due to a change in plans, and ended up LOVING the stay. From the moment you’re greeted out front to the minute you leave, everyone is so pleasant and friendly. The rooms, atmosphere, pool area, and dining are STUNNING, and the staff is so attentive and amazing. Room service was so amazing, and the cleaning was immaculate. They even found out we had a birthday to celebrate and brought a cake to our room. I would always recommend!

This is an amazing hotel that provides top quality luxury and service. The rooms are large and comfortable with all the expected amenities. In particular, the roof top bar is a great place to spend an evening or to grab a drink after a long day touristing.
