Pretty property. Felt safe the entire time i was there. The breakfast and the ala carte food is great. Music during the evening to complement the dinner. The property is safe and clean. Can feel a little dated with keyed entry to rooms. A little bit of a distance from the night market but not a lot.

Stayed here during a 1-week trip to Chiang Mai. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms aren't the fanciest and somewhat out of date. The gym was sparse and a bit run down. We enjoyed the pool and ample breakfast options. We loved the location that was easily walkable to the markets around Old City but not in the heart of business. Overall a good value!

Good Service, friendly staff. Need more room keys

Everything was very good. We have work conferences here sometimes. The hotel feels a little old in that they decided to stay classic rather than it is just rundown. It feels a bit on the line for that though. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that there is 1 physical key for the room. So if your spouse/companion/roommate is in the room and asleep, then you have to ask housekeeping to come open the door. You are also expected to leave the key with the front desk when leaving the hotel. The pool felt too chilly in the morning for me, and needed the afternoon sun hitting it for me to use it.

The staff was just fine. The room, however, is shabby and worn, desperately in need of a refit. Mold, stains, a musty smell everywhere. There is a ridiculous master control box for the room lighting, located on a side table near the bed. It has a glowing blue LCD display that cannot be dimmed or switched off, so it will light up the room like a drive-in movie theater unless you put a towel over it. Everything feels dated, they don't even have electronic key cards but actual bulky mechanical keys on a fob. Cannot recommend unless you're into a poor retro vibe from the 70's.

The hotel was extremely clean and convenient in a quite safe location with very walkable route to street markets and Night Bazaar which began at 5pm nightly. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. The property also has a very full breakfast buffet and the sister hotel right next door “The Premier Empress” has a nightly buffet that was delicious. The breakfast buffet area latter serves lunch and dinner. There is a great message place steps away. The pool was very nice and not crowded but it might have been because we were there in January. Although the pool was not heated, it was very swimmable. There is also a sauna and fitness room on the same floor. Upon checkout, the staff called an UBER like service for us which equaled to approx. $6.00 US. It was a lovely stay.

Booked for 4 nights and stayed for 3.

Booked a king bed for my honeymoon (I specifically requested for a king bed and messaged them saying we were celebrating our honeymoon trip). They greeted us saying they had upgraded us to a larger room for free, which we were very appreciative of. We then saw 2 twin beds instead of our 1 king as we entered our room. We went back downstairs and asked the front desk if there was another room with a king bed, even if room size would be smaller, and she had a bit of an attitude and said no. She said she'd send someone up to move our beds together. The front desk also didnt relay where the gym, restaurants, pool etc were so my husband and I just explored for ourselves. No signs of where the pool/gym were so we asked someone and they just said second floor. We took the elevstor to the 2nd floor and it was dark, no lights. Idk if they were doing repairs but it didnt feel inviting. Noticed our bathroom's soap holder in the shower had some mold and shower drain would not work. After 2 min of showering, water levels rose past the indent on the floor. We called housekeeping and they used a plunger to drain it. I had to rinse all of the soap and shampoo I still had on myself and water wouldn't drain again after 2 min of quickly rinsing myself. After long days of walking and doing tours, all I wanted was a relaxing shower. Had to leave and find another accommodation for our last day in Chiang Mai. We did appreciate the large goody bag they gave their guests when you check-in tho.
