Great Stay in a Convenient Location – Would Return! I recently stayed at Abitta Hotel in Puerto Rico and overall had a great experience. The location is fantastic—very convenient and close to everything we needed, which made exploring the area super easy. The hotel has two towers side by side, and during our visit, they were undergoing some remodeling. I suspect that’s why only one of the buildings had working Wi-Fi, while the other didn’t. It was a bit inconvenient, but understandable given the renovations. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I especially appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower—it made for a really refreshing experience. That said, the sliding shower door didn’t stay shut properly, likely due to worn-out friction on the track. We had to get a little creative and use a towel to keep it closed, which worked fine. Despite that minor hiccup, I would definitely stay here again. The comfort, location, and overall vibe made it a worthwhile choice, and I’m sure the renovations will only improve the experience for future guests.

The Abitta is a very well-priced hotel in the Condado neighborhood. It's a good value for the price per night of a room. However, there's a big difference between the quality of the rooms in the front/main building versus the back building. The hotel staff told me the back building used to be a different hotel that the Abitta recently bought and renovated but it in no way lives up to the quality of the rooms in the front building. I stayed in the back building and my room had several issues: 1. the shower didn't work properly (i had to pull the lever every which way to get it to turn on and then turn off and still it would drip); 2. the bathroom window was permanently cracked open and i couldn't close it or open it further; 3. the top lock on the inside of my door was missing the locking mechanism on the doorframe so the top lock didnt work at all; 4. the safe was an older model that was hard to operate and i locked myself out of it on my first night there; and 5. generally the room needed some renovation especially the bathroom. I will say the staff was extremely friendly and helpful anytime I needed something -- like how to troubleshoot the shower situation and when i locked myself out of the safe in my room (shout out to Oscar!). This is a great hotel to stay at but only if you're staying in the front/main building so I'd request that when booking and/or when checking in.

The hotel was a nice place and the room was beautiful! We had issues with the TV. It would not work but it may have been due to the storm. The hot water was only lukewarm. We had a $25 coupon for the hotel next door but half the items were not available. They had a nice run punch. Area had a lot of restaurants, a casino, shopping which was all walkable.

I really enjoyed my experience, we have problems with the AC the second night and they change our room immediately, the hotel was clean, you can find to many options around to dinner and I feel safe, the only think idk how the restaurant works with the 25 credit per night, I went to eat breakfast 2 avocado toast $14 each avocado was ( really brown) 2 coffees I think where $6 each I paid with the credit and I have to pay from my pocket 30 dollars! Other than that i love the hotel

Cute but terrible service

This was not a good way to start our vacation in Puerto Rico. This hotel is understaffed and the staff who are there are not sufficiently trained. We arrived at 1:30am and it took ages to check in even though it was just us. We were assigned a room and walked in on a family sleeping! It took them awhile to find a new room, which separated our (mostly grown) kids from us in a separate building. Rather than treat the situation with concern and urgency, the front desk staff were laughing and telling the story to other staff! We had breakfast in the restaurant in the morning, and it took a full hour to get bowls of yogurt and oats. The server did warn us that the kitchen was slow bc she had only one cook but we couldn’t even get water or coffee. Clearly this hotel has been redesigned and it’s adorable but the staffing is not up to standards.

Very good hotel with excellent staff — friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The property is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a pleasant stay. Excellent location. The only downside was the valet parking, which is handled by a subcontracted service. They were often unavailable when needed, requiring us to call and wait for service. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel itself, but the valet experience could use improvement.

The check-in process was as smooth as it could be, but the hotel itself didn’t quite live up to the photos online. The walkways were cracked, sink drains were rusted, and the mattress was hard as a brick. There was a shared door between rooms, and we could hear everything from next door. We definitely budgeted on this hotel and got what we paid for. The daily $25 dining voucher was a nice perk. The dinner staff was excellent, the server was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the breakfast/brunch crew wasn’t the same. We waited over an hour for food, and orders were still wrong. The staff overall was kind and welcoming, but if you’re looking for a quality hotel experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Thankfully, my partner made our 3-day stay feel more comfortable despite the hiccups.
