Kim was incredibly welcoming and has done an amazing job with this Vrbo. It truly had everything we needed in our home away from home. 10 out of 10 would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, fun, well stocked, well situated location in San Diego.

Fantastic property with so much to offer, Kim has thought of everything! Easy communication, she would promptly reply day or night and helped resolve any issues quickly. Although the patio is shared, we were always able to enjoy it alone. The location was fantastic, within easy reach of Ocean Beach and the airport. We were travelling with a toddler and grandparents and everyone was able to enjoy themselves.We felt very much at home during our stay and would not hesitate to stay again if we’re ever back in San Diego.

Kim is awesome! She provided detailed instructions on use of amenities, parking, appliances, and more. Apartment was stocked with bedding, towels, coffee and pillows. Everything was labled and east to find. I would definately recommend!

Our stay at this property was fantastic, largely thanks to the exceptional host, Kim. She was incredibly communicative and proactive, reaching out to ensure we had everything we needed before and during our visit. The personal touches and her quick responses made a huge difference.The property's amenities were outstanding. We particularly appreciated the [mention a specific amenity, e.g., fully-stocked kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, private patio] which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The attention to detail in the property's features truly stood out.A highlight of our stay was the beds, which were exceptionally comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after long days of exploring. The quality of the linens and mattresses was top-notch.Finally, the location was ideal. Being so close to the freeway made getting around the area a breeze, and the short drive to SeaWorld was a huge plus for our trip. The convenient access balanced a quiet neighborhood with easy access to attractions.

Our family of 5 had the best time here! Kim’s home really made us feel welcome and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, minimal noise from neighbors. We even got to enjoy the hot tub one evening once the kids went to bed. We have 3 littles, and the amenities for them really made this an incredible place to stay! From the kitchen items, to a pack and play to fun toys, everything we needed was there! Not to mention beach items. We had an incredible time and will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

If you're coming to San Diego with your family, look no further, you've found your home away from home. Kim's place was spacious (3 rooms,1.5 bathroom, and a patio), kid friendly (toys, books, games, pack n play, safety locks), and just minutes from the best attractions in San Diego (5 minutes to the beach, 10 to Sea World, 15 to Balboa Park & the Zoo).Kim was also an incredible host. She has tons of info on what to do in the area (seriously, check out the farmers market) and the place is packed with little amenities and helpful instructions. Oh, and it has an EV chargerWhy are you still reading this, just book the place!

The Vrbo was very cozy and made us feel welcome. I loved the stock of the place! We really could have just brought our clothes and nothing else . It was very easy to get where we wanted because of the freeway systems and close shops.

Amazing host and awesome property

My friends and I went down to Comic Con. Typically I overpay for a hotel, but this year we decided to try VRBO. Kim was awesome! Her place was awesome! It was so much more relaxing than the hustle and bustle of downtown. We will definitely stay with Kim again. Thank you!!

Incredible stay!The owner was super helpful by providing SO much details, recommendations to eat, places to visit. Also provided beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and surf boards. The condo was clean and well stocked in the kitchen to make breakfast each morning.We have stayed in many VRBOs and this by far was one of the best!

SD Annual Family Beach Fun

June 2025 - Le Chateau Jolie was easy to find and exactly as we anticipated. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. Wi-Fi and tv worked great! The kitchen was very clean & well equipped but not large enough to have more than 2 people in it. We were able to make family size meals with no issues. The beds were comfy although it could get stuffy in the rooms at night if the bedroom doors were closed. We had one issue with a bed frame but Kim was quick to respond and got it fixed right away with her skilled handyman. It was great customer service! We utilized the rear alley parking space in addition to the 2 reserved tandem spaces in the front, it was a tight fit for a Tacoma truck but worked out well. We could see the Seaworld fireworks at night just taking a few steps outside. Neighbors were friendly and gas station around the corner and grocery store not too far. We would surely recommend and stay again. Thank you Le Chateau Jolie for helping to make our family retreat memorable!

Kim’s place is excellent. We stayed for a week and were happy to find all of the comforts of home. We were a group of adults with some small kids. We were pleased to find one of the bedrooms had a playroom with books and toys, which was perfect for entertaining our girls when we weren’t out on adventures in the city. The apartment is also very conveniently located, we had no issues accessing places we wanted to go. The only thing I would mention is the parking situation can be a bit tricky, so if you come in more than two cars or have a visitor, parking can be tricky. But this is not uncommon for Point Loma neighborhoods. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. Kim was a fantastic host and was always responsive when we reached out for anything. Thanks again Kim!

Attention to Detail, Accommodating and Awesome communication, oh my!

This property was adorable, had absolutely everything we needed and came with the added bonus of a gracious and accommodating host! I felt like I was staying with close family and has the best experience I have ever had at a VRBO or Airbnb. Anytime I had a question, there was a label. Missing anything, it was available in the most convenient place. I am so floored at the level of graciousness and attention to detail! Thank you so much to our host!!

Great stay loaded with the essentials

This was by far one of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at not only for such a convenient location but because the host had so many essentials fully stocked at the house. There was also a little goodie cupboard that you could buy treats from which the kids loved!

Everything you need!

Kim has thought of everything! The place is not big, but everything has a spot and it's really organized. She provides a list of things to do in the San Diego area. There were many toys for my 3 year old to play with. The tv's were easy to use which was nice! I have multiple chemical sensitivity so scents really bother me. This place was great. Kim washed everything without detergent for bedding, and used baking soda and vinegar for the rest of the cleaning. I didn't have any issues.

Amazing Home

The home was lovely and the host was amazing! She truly thought of Everything when it comes to your needs to make this a wonderful stay. Plenty of room to enjoy time with our family of 5. We enjoyed the patio and fortunately got it all to ourselves the night we went out there. I enjoyed watching the planes fly overhead too. The host has an entire book of suggestions on things to do around San Diego and we did several of them. She was very communicative if you needed anything at all. Clean up was very reasonable. We are so grateful we stayed at this property and would definitely stay again or at another one of her properties if we had less people. Overall fantastic experience!

Perfect little Chateau

Exquisitely decorated and wonderfully appointed cozy retreat. We had 4 in our group and it was a perfect size with everything we could have asked for. My only disappointment was that we didn’t book a longer stay. 10 out of 10 popcorn bags, would recommend! Wonderful place!

Great vacation rental!

This is the most thoughtfully set up vrbo we have ever stayed in! Communication was excellent and all of the little details really made this as comfortable as being in our own home :)

It has everything you need and more

Kim was prompt on her replies and very informative. The place it outstadnign. It has everythign you can think of, even over the counter cough medicine, sleep aid and such. Nice details all over the place, blow dryer (the nicer kind), ice already waiting for you, cooking seasonings and so much more. The hot tub is amazing!!!! Lots of towels. The rooms are phenomenal. The only thing is the parking is super tight, almost to an uncomfortable spot. Although Kim offers alternatives i think in the ally...Overall great place, if ever in SanDiego will definitely look to stay again.

Lovely stay in remodeled home

We had previously stayed in Kim’s property several years ago for a family vacation in San Diego and chose to do so again in 2025 (this time with four kids instead of three). We learned she had just remodeled the place, and the changes were great! We especially liked the king size bed in the front room. Best of all, even though the property was fully remodeled, she kept all the toys, books, and other touches that made the property so memorable for our children. Also, Kim is very communicative and helpful with any questions that arise during your stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to staying there again in the future.
