Have to pay for parking and only 4 handicapped spaces between the two buildings. Swimming pool closed down. Elevators are hidden and homeless hang out near them. Children running laps at round both buildings on second floor and front desk just said that’s awful we can’t catch them though. I will never go there again. No security.

The property was disappointing overall. The photos online made it appear better than in person. Upon check-in we were informed that there would be a $14 a night extra charge for parking a car in the parking lot. This was not advertised anywhere when I was booking the hotel. If I would have known, I would have chosen a different hotel. Of you are paying to stay in a hotel, parking at such hotel should always be free. This hotel was also off of the highway, with absolutely no where else to park my car, so you are forced to pay this ridiculous fee which is not at all mentioned beforehand. The rooms were quite small, and both had a displeasing odor for the first 2 days we were there. The light in our room blinked incessantly. I was not pleased with the overall cleanliness. I would not stay here again.

Our parking fee is posted on this website as well as all other sites. Parking is $12 a night per vehicle. We do apologize that you were surprised with the fee. We do apologize about the odor, rest assure, the hotel would have taken care of any issues or concerns when it was brought up. Sincerest apologies, once more.

Close to SDSU and within minutes of downtown and beaches. Hotel is a little outdated. Thin walls and you can hear the conversations from the people next your room.

Check in lady was horrible. A grouch and rude. Our flight landed at 9:45pm, and we got there at close to midnight. Upon check-in, she said our room was cancelled because we didn’t put a credit card on file, even though we had called earlier that week to advise them of our late arrival. We weren’t told we needed a credit card to hold the room. The rooms are (just) ok. The cleanliness is questionable. The carpets don’t feel so clean- we kept socks on almost all the time. The absolute best part was Jesus in the breakfast area. He was always pleasant, working hard and continuous to restock and check everything during breakfast!! Thank you Jesus for making our short stay a pleasant one!

The hotel does require an authorization for the amount of the 1st night in order to hold the reservation past 6PM the day of arrival. We are glad Jesus was able to give a pleasant breakfast experience.

The staff were friendly. The walkways are terribly small, you can't walk next to or pass anyone without having to having to move to the extreme opposite side to left them pass. This includes the maid carts. The room wasn't what we expected, we felt disappointed and ripped off for the price we paid. The beds were uncomfortable. There were cobwebs around the room, the rug should be deep cleaned. We had to endure the barking dog next door. The breakfast was decent. At the price we paid, we had stood at a higher quality embassy suites for half that price
