the beach view was very nice. close to the boardwalk. the queen bed was in the master suit, and the king was in the queen suit. that was a little confusing...

We had a wonderful stay in San Diego! The host was very welcoming, responsive, and made the check-in process smooth and easy. The home was clean, well-organized, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated how well stocked everything was — plenty of towels, toiletries, and kitchen essentials so we didn’t have to worry about anything during our trip. The location was perfect and made getting around very convenient while still feeling safe and comfortable for our family. Overall it felt relaxing and stress-free, and we would definitely stay here again!

Awesome house beyween Mission & Pacific beaches!

Beautiful house, awesome porch, decks and rooftop with ocean views even being a few houses in from the shoreline. The fire pit and grill on the roof were great. The house was very clean and comfortable. The beach towels, chairs, toys, surf and boogie boards provided were a plus!

Communication was great with property manager. Unit had plenty of towels and beach gear and it was easy to rent bikes and water toys across the street. The location is great between the ocean and the bay, with easy walking distance to everything.Unit was showing some wear and tear, which is typical of the beach erosion, but is in dire need of a good refresh. Walls, doors, air vents and windows all needed a good cleaning. While the property appeared clean upon check in, we did notice party supplies left behind from the prior renter, and items still left. Trash cans were overflowing with garbage that had spilled out which lead to a lot of bugs and flies. Ant traps were set up in the kitchen. We did not cook at all, but something to note.Unit had plenty of space for 5 ppl, just felt in need of a little TLC

Just as expected. The place was as described and like the pictures. Had all the essentials like toiletries for our stay. We were able to park our rental Honda minivan easily. We bbq'd a few times on the roof top and used the fire pit. Everything worked. We never had to contact host. Enjoyed our stay and location was perfect. Steps away from the beach and nearby restaurants.

Quick get away

The property was awesome!!! The weather wasn’t… lots of rain and cold weather… we were able to walk the beaches (they were not crowded because of the weather) and utilize the rooftop space with the fire pit… Highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again during the summer!!!

Appliance failure

Property location is great.The dryer didn’t work so washing clothes was impossible. Something that we counted on.The refrigerator ice dispenser didn’t work albeit no big deal.I’d stay here again, just bring more clothes.

Graduation Weekend

We stayed in the house as a fun base for 2 families, 3 generations and 2 college graduates. The house is in a nice location with several outdoor spaces for different groups to talk. We loved the rooftop terrace with the fire pit. The only recommendation is to make sure no one in the group has issues with stairs. Also, we had three vehicles so parking was complicated. The space on the side of the garage is for a small car only.

The location for a vacation was great, literally walk out the door and within a small walking distance the beach was right there. The cleanliness was poor. There was sand all over the floor upon checking in, ants around the kitchen and counters. What you expect from a rental house to be honest. The dishwasher didn’t work, we found that out after starting it and it had a bad sewage smell that lingered throughout the whole kitchen so we just ended up hand washing.The parking is absolutely atrocious. We had a van and it did not fit in the extra space nor the garage. If you have a Toyota Corolla/prius or a very, very small crossover you can get it in….just barely though. Otherwise, you are left parking on mission blvd somewhere and half the time you had to park 10-15minutes (walking) to find a spot and making sure you are parked in a non towing or 2 hour parking space. The size of the house was great though for 9 people- 6 adults and 3 kids. Overall, we would give the house a 3 out of 5. They need some painting redone, there are no hooks to hang things (towels) and one of the bedrooms doesn’t have any thing to put your clothes on/in. Rooftop was great, grocery store was walking distance, coffee shops, and other things. Lots of homeless people walking around looking in your trash. The house was good for what we needed it, I would recommend them fixing the dishwasher, repainting, deep cleaning, putting hooks up, getting new mattresses-they were yellow and dirty.

This place is just OK. The furnishings and amenities are probably as inexpensive as the owner could get to be able to break even or make a profit. Things were missing such as no top to the broiling pan, no mixer of any kind although there was a blender. Many of the cabinet doors did not close easily, had to lift them up to close them and lack of maintenance is probably the problem there.The lower outside area was pretty much uninhabitable due to so many flies that even with bug spray, it did not have an effect. The cheap fake grass on the lower area probably was part of the problem. The deck out the master bedroom has some kind of daybed, although it’s a flimsy piece of plywood with some fake grass on top of it. The overall outdoor areas were lacking for comfortable seating, no cushions of any kind, just hard benches, no chairs to sit on some of the smaller decks just a big flat bench. The fire pit worked very well, but there were no instructions at all so we had to wait until the next day to use it.Overall, I would not stay here again, I would look carefully at other places with the pictures to see if there’s more comfortable seating. I don’t know how to check on the problem with the flies, as well as fruit flies inside at night, and ants all over the kitchen sink several times.We have stayed in many places along the beach in San Diego, so we are probably a bit picky. I hope this helps those looking for a place to stay.
