It was close to the Entertainment district and far enough away that it wasn’t crowded and loud.

Great hotel in a nice area with many bars and restaurants to walk to. Close to the Red Line and Petco Park/Stadium. Views from the 8th floor were wonderful! Spacious room and bathroom. We did not eat in the small restaurant on the 1st floor, and did not have time to visit the scenic bar on the 9th floor. There is a Starbucks just around the corner and a Nektar juice bar. Valet parking is the only parking at the hotel and is expensive ($47 per night - similar to most hotel rates in the area) but it was quick and easy to get our car when needed. The hotel loading zone is really small so we often had to wait in a red zone to get our car parked, though not for very long. Staff are really nice and helpful. Housekeeping came to our room before we were ready to leave in the morning and we asked that they come back later. We returned at 3 pm and the room had not been done. A quick call to the front desk assured us that it would be taken care of after we left again at 4. It was done by the time we returned from dinner. i-pad alarm docking station was an easy way to get hotel information. A/C really efficient. We would definitiely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Soiled clothing from previous guest found in drawers. Dogs barking and howling in the rooms throughout the stay. Kitchen/room service closed on final night of stay. Room 925 adjacent to housekeeping service room which was very noisy and employees yelling at one another frequently and noises that sounded like items being thrown against the wall. No pool. Staff was friendly, but would not recommend this hotel.

Pros: Great location! Right downtown and within walking distance to so many fun places.
The hotel was very easy to find and has a great location. Very accessible to downtown restaurants and night life, we had an abundance of places to choose from. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall this was a nice place to stay, I don’t have anything terrible to say.
