Myself and my children have tried a few hotels in the Carlsbad/ Encinitas area and wish we had tried the Holiday Inn first. While it’s 15-20 minutes drive from the coast, it felt more modern and clean than other similar hotels closer to the coast. No charge for working, lovely big pool, beds and bedding were lovely, good shower and water pressure. Will stay again for sure.

Check-in and check-out were super easy, and we were greeted by friendly staff right away. We stayed here back in 2018, and I’m happy to say the experience is still just as excellent as we remembered. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is a must—so convenient, tasty, and very reasonably priced. The wait staff were wonderful and really attentive, which made the meal even better. The room and bathroom appeared very clean and had adequate pillows and towels for family of 4. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a basketball court on-site—such a fun bonus, especially for my son. There were plenty of other entertainment for all ages! Overall, this hotel has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone, especially families traveling with children!
