Little America Hotel
"The stay was good but the only reason why I gave it a low rating, and I have never given a bad review before. I found the staff insensitive, lazy and indifferent to a problem that occurred and there are no excuses. My spouse left her retainer in the room and we realized it after we checked out. We called up the hotel and spoke to the front desk , housekeeping, security, and management and no one were willing to proactively address my problem. We left the retainer in the bathroom ( 100%certainty) and the housekeeper who cleaned the room said she never saw it though she should have since it was in the bathroom. Did she throw it away? Don’t know but she should have seen it. I asked management, housekeeping, security, front desk to contact the people staying in the room and they all refused because they had the privacy notice. Is it such a big deal for a brief call asking if hey saw it or a note under the door asking to call the desk to see if they saw the retainer. They didn’t care to help out. They waited until after they checked out to see if the retainer was there. Privacy signs at a hotel is a courtesy, and the hotel could have spent a second contacting the guests to see if they saw the retainer, what happened? Did the housekeeper not see it or instead, threw it away for convenience and won’t admit it? Don’t know. I’d not, did she simply not see it ? Possible. Did the guests after us throw it away! Don’t know. They were never asked. Now we have to get new retainer."
