Good location if you need to be downtown but the hotel was so-so. A bit dated, no microwave in the room, staff was fair, Starbucks in the lobby closed at 2:00, and had to pay $19.00 a day to park in their underground parking. I think the hotel, like others, is just milking the COVID issue to cut back. There is a reason why homesharing is eating into the revenue of hotel/motels. Never had a problem with VRBO. We will definitely go that route next time to SLC.

Hello, We apologize your stay with us did not meet your standards. We have a microwave available on the second floor for guest use. Our self-parking rate is currently $19/day per vehicle. Valet parking is available currently for $25/day. Depending on your vehicle type, prices could differ. We hope to have the opportunity to have you stay with us again.

The only reason we reserved a room at this hotel was because travelocity said it had an indoor pool. It did but has been under renovation for several months. It was so disappointing. My kids were so upset, it ruined the trip for them. The room was old and in need of repair, the shower curtain was falling off and the shower head was so worn out it either shot one stream straight out or shot 6 streams and dribbled out. The rooms were old and dated and didn’t look anything like Travelocity’s pictures. The beds were clean and comfortable for what it’s worth. I feel very taken advantage of and will not use Travelocity or Marriott at City Creek ever again. If there was rooms available at neighboring hotels I would have gone somewhere else to at least make my kids happy. Be warned.

Friendly & helpful staff. Indoor pool, spa & sauna open till 11 PM which was awesome as we checked in around 8 PM after a 9-hour-drive. Room was clean & comfy. We were quoted a lower price for parking than we actually ended up having to pay, but everything else was great. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we are in SLC.

Quick Trip with Son

Location: City Creek mall is next door with shopping, food, etc., Temple Square is across the street.
My son and I met a friend in SLC for a couple of days. The location was great for shopping, dining, and doing touristy stuff. The staff was helpful and the place was modern and clean. I'd go back again tomorrow.

Pros: The views were great. The room was very clean.
Cons: This hotel seems to be a little dated. I was expecting something nicer from a Marriott. The room amenities were sparse.
Location: Great location. Downtown in walking distance to some great shopping and restaurants. Public train was super easy to use and free downtown.
We went here for an anniversary get away. We were a little disappointed by the dated room and lack of amenities. Great location though. The bed was comfy and the room was clean.

Horrible service

Did not get the room that I booked, people in restaraunt/bar would not help me after 20 min I had to walk up and get there attention. Service desk was no help. I will never stay at this hotel again and I recommend it to nobody
