We arrived and walked up to the reception area. I didn't see or hear anyone behind the desk so I looked around a little bit. When I happened to look in one direction, I saw a white phone sticking out from behind the computer monitor that the receptionist was holding up to her ear sideways, then I looked around the monitor to discover someone was actually sitting there. No greeting, nothing. I wasn't impressed with that. She was more of a robotic type of person, just get it done and get on with it. No directions to our room so we were left on our own to find the elevators. The room was ok. It was comfortable and the bed was good. Everything that we used did work. I have stayed at other Crystal Inns that were much nicer and the people were more friendly. We went down for coffee right around 6:00 am, they were still getting the tables set up for breakfast, there were no lights on in the dining area, made it a little hard to see to get your coffee. I don't think I would stay there again. The morning desk clerk was more like a human when we checked out.

It was ok. Room was good sized with sofa & side chair. Bathroom was barely big enough to close the door while you're sitting down. Shower dated but really good water pressure. Small toiletries provided. Large exterior bathroom vanity, ironing board, m/w & mini fridge. NO COFFEE MAKER. UGH! Bed & pillows ok. Room felt dingy .. a little dirty... But I think just cuz it's older. Buffet breakfast was pretty good. Hot & cold items. Great location. Front clerks could care less about your presence. Out of the 3 desk clerks I encountered in my 3 days there .. two never acknowledged my existence. Really liked the location, but probably will make a different choice next time.

I had a few small issues with the room. The bathroom light kept going out and the TV had to be reset (no audio). Also, the washer in the laundry room didn't have hot water. Maintenance was called and confirmed so I had to rewash my clothes in the other washing machine. The rooms are clean and the hotel is convenient to the Cottonwood Canyon resorts.
