Good location, Nice and Clean, Comfortable Bed.

Pros: Comfortable room and Great service.
Cons: The price of the breakfast is expensive.
Good quality hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpfull. Taxi stop next to hotel is very convenient. Taxis there tend to be easier to catch at these stops. The beds are very comfortable and makes it easy to recover from a busy day. We had a Queen bed with sitting area desk and two closets. Nice big bathroom room. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Plenty of good shopping.

Wonderful hotel and staff in the middle of Rome.

My wife and I just celebrated our second anniversary with a week at the St. Regis in Rome. It is a smaller hotel in the center of the city. The hotel is very beautiful, extremely clean and well maintained, and the staff was truly wonderful. Whenever we needed anything, whether an adaptor, recommendation or suggestion, they went above and beyond each time. My wife and I travel quite a bit and both agreed the staff was one of the best that we have ever dealt with. Every day they delivered something unique to our room for no reason, such as a bottle of wine or local candies. Nothing major, but a very courteous and considerate gesture. I have not really seen that before so it was much appreciated. The only reason I gave it four stars for the facility is because the gym was a little weak. This may not matter to most people, but I am kind of a gym rat so I like to workout when I travel. This also tends to be true of most hotels in Europe so it shouldn't be counted too badly against them, but nonetheless, based on the pictures I was expecting it to be a bit better equipped. Outside of that, it was a truly wonderful hotel and staff with a great location that is convenient to almost any major location in Rome. I would highly recommend it for any couple looking for a romantic getaway in Rome. We both hope to return again in the future. Happy travels.

STOLEN BELONGINGS

Im sorry to say that I had a very bad experience in the St. Regis Hotel of Rome On Sunday May, 5th me and my daughter went to the Bar in the hotel lobby to have a coffee while we waited for our friend that was staying in the hotel to come down from his room. I went to the Bar Counter and payed for my coffee in advance and went to go sit on a sofa while we waited for the waiter to bring us our coffee. We had our coffee and stayed there a while more.. after a few minutes I went outside, accompanied by my daughter to smoke a cigarette. After 5 minutes MAX i went back inside to the lobby and sat down at our table to find out that my iPHONE 4S wasnt on the table anymore. Our table was located on the LEFT side of the hall, close to the staircase a few feet away from the Bar where all the waiters were.. And there werent any customers consuming anything besides Me and my daughter. the only people there were US AND THE WAITERS. I thought it was strange that my cellphone had dissapeared, so worried, I asked the waiters if they had seen it when they cleaned the table, they obviously said they didnt see ANYTHING. Nobody was trying to help me out so I asked if i could see the security cameras to see what had happened, to which the SUPERVISER AND ALL THE WAITERS TOLD ME THAT ''THERE WAS NO CAMERAS IN THE HALL''. I thought this was completely ridiculous. HOW DOES ONE OF THE MOST LUXURIOUS 5 STAR HOTELS IN ROME DOES NOT HAVE ANY SECURITY CAMERAS IN THE MOST IMPORTANT SECTION OF THE HOTEL? this should be the BASIC SECURITY MEASURE made by ANY HOTEL, LET ALONE A 5 STAR HOTEL, to control the movements that go on in the section of the hotel to which ANY PERSON CAN HAVE ACCESS TO. I thought this was completely unbelievable, so i asked to speak to the SECURITY SUPERVISOR.. and the employes of the hotel told me ''HE WAS IN A MEETING AND WASNT AVAILABLE TO TALK''.. the employees of this hotel didnt collaborate at all with what had happened in their PRIVATE PROPERTY so i went to the Police Department. The police spoke to the hotel so they could grant the access to the security cameras.. The hotel told the Police that THERE IS SECURITY CAMERAS IN THE HOTEL. and they told us, THE CUSTOMERS, that there WASNT. they lied to us.  AFTER 10 DAYS im still waiting for a solution to see what happened to my personal belongings.  i dont recoment that anyone wastes there money on a hotel that wont guarantee security to any person or there belongings.

Simply great!

The St. Regis is simply awesome. Great location in town, far enough from the throngs of tourists but close enough for short cab rides. The staff is what really makes this hotel. Michelle the bartender is the friendliest and most helpful person you will ever meet. The massages and laundry service are incredible. Prices are a little ridiculous (10 euros for a coke) but in this kind of hotel, that's to be expected. We had a great time!

30th Wedding Anniversary

Located near Termini station on the east side of the central area. Very convenient to hop on metro or bus. The hotel restaurant, Vivende, had a four course prix-fare special for 90 euros. A good deal for one of the most exclusive restaurants in all of Rome. Turn down service each day and they replace courtesy water bottles daily. The doors open and close quietly so you don't hear the neighbors arriving or leaving. Rooms are high ceiling with chandelier and moulding throughout. Room size is huge by US standards not to mention European. Full tub separate from full shower with 2 sink vanity in bathroom. Robes of course. We had a king size bed, couch, and desk with plenty of room to move around. Would definitely stay again!

You get what you pay for!

From the time I entered, my eyes were impressed! Great service, they catered to my every need. About a 20 minute walk (via the subway) to the Spanish Steps and shopping! I'd definitely stay there again.
