A five star experience in a well priced four star type property. Getting into place the first time is a bit of a challenge - street level passcode, up a flight of stairs to an old style elevator up to fifth floor - but once there, it's a lovely boutique property. The location is ideal, centrally located in the historic center of Rome and immediately beside a busy taxi stand. Stepping inside the impressively large doors, one climbs a beautiful flight of stairs (shallow and easily managed) to the small lift. The office is on the top floor, number 5. There are better options for staying in the center of Rome. the location is good and the bed is comfy but otherwise there is no reason to stay here. We could hear our very loud neighbors early in the morning. The maintenance of the room was lacking, i.e. toilet seat, shower soap dish, lighting etc.

My partner and i arrived at Domus 21 Luxury Suites in Rome on the evening of 7/15/24. I had conveyed to the property that i would be arriving late per their instructions. Great communication, they sent me an email letting me know how i can obtain my keys once there. The room was nice and perfect for a couple, it was clean and the amenities were great. The only reason why i gave them 4 stars is because the air conditioning system was set at 16 C and we were going through a heat wave. The room would heat up very fast. the restroom was cooler than the actual room. We did let the person in charge know, super handsome Italian man, very friendly and courteous. He did advise us that he would have someone take a look immediately. We went on about our day and when we got back, he apologized for the inconvenience and said that the air seemed to be working fine but that they could not lower the temp from the set temp. He offered a fan which was placed in our room. While that helped, it was also very humid. Other than that, this is truly a 5 star hotel. I would definitely stay with them again. They are also centrically located near major landmarks within walking distance. I had a very pleasant stay.

Only stayed one night but stay was fantastic. Front desk was very helpful in checking in, handling luggage early and planning transportation for us to the airport. Additional drinks/etc. that were already in the room were a bonus. Thanks for a great stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location to walk to all the sights. Staff was lovely although not there all the time. Room was nice and great AC. An iron, water, coffee was provided daily. Our bathroom pocket door was difficult to close all the way, but otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
