"We absolutely loved our stay. All of the personal touches were wonderful, idyllic surroundings, responsive host, easy access and all the conveniences of home. I always enjoy having the ability to tidy up, vacuum, broom, cleaning supplies (I may be strange but I really appreciate these things). Close proximity to Fairy Stone State Park. Everything we needed for an enjoyable family vacation. I highly recommend the Bear Cabin. I won't hesitate to return. Thank you for wonderful memories!"

"Hotel retains its charm and perfect downtown location. Years into the hotel's life, there's still no sign up front directing traffic to the upper (main ) parking lot, and poor signage in that lot to get folks to the sidewalk leading to the hotel. (the front desk didn't even mention their unusual parking arrangement). I also wish they would have plastic drinking glasses in the bathroom. I broke a glass one. (I was clumsy at times, but so are other guests. The risks exceed the benefits.)"
