Love the old Reno hotel feel but overpriced everything! Every staff I asked a question too they seemed speechless and always confused it was like they saw a ghost. $9 beers $12 shots come on! Why go back to Reno? No reason too.

Big problem with my room keys. Room key did not open room door had to go down stairs from the 9th floor had to wait 6 minutes to get an elevator. The receptionist told ok i fixed it went up in the elevator to the 9th floor and still did not work. Waited again for a long time for an elevator went to the receptionist again She told me we’re gonna have to move u you’re getting an upgrade i said ok. Went to the 9th floor again but before that we had to wait for an elevator for along time. We got to the room and the room temperature was at 79 degrees it felt sooo hot i tried to turn on the A/C and it wasn’t working i tried to reach the front desk with room phone and nobody answered my wife told me just forget about they’re not gonna fix it. So we had to leave the room door open for while until the room temp went down. Never again El Dorado never again fool me once shame on you. Thats my story thank you

Finding parking was terrible. The entire parking structure was filled to capacity. We had to use valet parking. The valet parking staff were friendly and efficient. The checking in was a headache. Even though check in starts a 3 pm. When we showed up at 6:40 pm our room wasn’t ready. They told us it would be about thirty minutes to which we waited. After the thirty minutes, they still needed about one more hour to get the room ready. We had somewhere to be so we left our bags at the bell desk and returned after 9:30 to finally be able to check in. The staff, checking I was stoic and showed no emotion regarding the situation. “All” they could do for us was take care of the resort fees for the stay. The inside of that tower and the room’s decor, makes you feel you’re in a 70s movie. The toilet was constantly filling and the sink drains made weird noises after turning the faucet off. Checking out was a breeze. We were surprised that valet was $15 since it has always been free. Granted, we haven’t used valet parking since Caesar’s entertainment took over the three big downtown casinos. Bottom line, it was a poor experience and we might not stay at this place in the future.

We had to go back 2 times to get the keys reprogrammed and ultimately had to be assigned to a new room that did not have the bed configuration we had reserved. The resort employees were helpful and the room satisfactory, but inconveniencing customers with something we were told might have been due to testing being done on doors without compensation of any kind, was rather poor customer service.
