Rock hard bed!

You could bounce a quarter on the so called mattress. Didn't sleep well and couldn't move well the next day. I guess you do get what you pay for. Grrrrr

I got what I paid for. A cheap hotel.

First off, there are huge signs for the hotel all over the place, but is VERY confusing because the hotel lobby shares an entrance with an Indian restaurant, but was not on the door that it was the hotel entrance. The hallway was super hot. The stairs to the building were torn up(tripping hazard) and had a band aid stuck to the carpet the whole time we were there. There was also a rogue peanut just out side our room that stayed the whole time. Like no one is vacuuming. The wires for the tv and Internet, etc was a tangled mess fully seen and could be a hazard if you were to use the desk. The WORST part, was the bed was HORRIBLE. Hard as a rock. The comforter was torn and stained. The pillows were miniature. They gave us 4 but it was hard to get them to stay because they were so small. The patio was nice to have, but the decking was peeled up from water damage. The table and chairs were sturdy. The bar lock for the glass slider door slid past its locking position which renders it useless for safety. the bathroom towel rack was floppy and when I grabbed a towel, the bar came up with it. The counter top for the sink in the bathroom, looks like it was melted or had glue on it. Like a huge spot about 4"x4". Any water that got splashed up,I had to wipe ASAP in fear of it warping and getting charged possibly. The ac ran NON STOP. Which I'm not super complaining about that because it was hot outside. VERY noisy ac.

You Get What You Pay For

Pros: Location
Cons: Pillows and soap need to be usable.
Location: 7 long walking blocks to a good casino/hotel. 2 blocks from Bricks, a nice steakhouse/cocktail lounge.
Location was good for a quick 2 day stay. Staff members were pleasant. Pillows were like wafers, soap skimpy. Free breakfast buffet was adequate. I was by myself on a business trip. Would not have brought the wife. BTW, pool was large and sparkling!

Rundown Neighborhood

Pros: The staff and the restaurant
Cons: Hard to change the neighborhood.
Location: I would not venture out of the hotel unless by car.
This looks like this was a reasonably nice place to stay with a pool and big sliding doors on each room, but it is now in the middle of some marginal urban decay. Though the staff was very nice, and the place full of people (including children), I would not recommend it to more security sensitive travelers. There is a nice Indian restaurant attached to the motel. I enjoyed that and the free breakfast was good. They provided lots of options including freshly made scrambled eggs (instead of the powdered type you are sometimes served).

Average Budget Hotel

Pros: I liked the quiet location and the pool and gardens.
Cons: They need to work on the wi-fi system to provide for a busy full hotel if they are going to promise it.
Location: Good Indian food restaurant in the hotel. We recommend it as a change from the average fare.
Hotel check-in was easy and the room was quiet and in a good location. We never could get wi-fi though it was advertised. When I called the manager said he would re-set the modem but there were a lot of people on the system and so it was slow. It never happened. There were two remotes but no instructions about how to use them to get TV. I had to call to get instructions.

Worst experience ever in a hotel/motel.

Cons: Noisy, lousy room for the money, out of the way hard to get to.
The room smelled dank and musty. The bathroom was filthy, the shower tiles were black in the grout. The towel bar was barely hanging by the screws in the wall and the light switch was pushing in an only worked occasionally. The on duty attendant's attitude was "oh well". I needed a first floor room and no more were available. The air conditioner didn't. If I hadn't driven 700 miles that day and booked at a pay up front website,I would have driven off and found somewhere else to stay.

Fabulous!

I was very pleasantly surprised! Room was very clean, appeared to have been redone recently. Loved having the coffee maker and fridge in the room. The staff was friendly. Everything was extremely secure-great for traveling alone. I would definitely stay there again!!!
