The good: Great location close to stores and restaurants and right off the interstate. Nice pool. Good price for tourist area. Decent continental breakfast. Staff was friendly. Area and property felt safe. The negatives: Room carpet was dirty plus carpet in the bathroom is a big NO especially in a hotel. No blankets on the bed except the bedspread which doesn’t appear to be washed after each guest. Pillows were small and hard as rocks. We just needed it for one night traveling through the area, and prices of hotels on the weekend in this area were ridiculous. So the Foothills Inn was adequate for our needs.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable and our room was dirty everywhere - the toilet had skid stains on the toilet top and seat that clearly had not been cleaned and every single piece of linen or towel had stains like they had not been cleaned, including the sheets and pillows. There was trash left from previous guest all over the floor and hairs left in the bathroom. To top it off, we were in a non smoking room but it smelled heavily throughout of smoke, especially in the shower area. The manager was extremely rude to other guests and myself. The manager needs a serious attitude adjustment - she was so unfriendly and rude it made our stay absolutely awful. I was accosted for asking if there was bottled or filtered water. She was angry, short, and rude for absolutely no reason. Made us extremely uncomfortable. No filtered or bottled water for guests. “Breakfast” was a Jimmy Dean frozen biscuit. Would not recommend staying here - we believe we also saw bed bugs in our bed. Don’t risk it for your health and happiness. Our stay here dampened our good vibes on our trip. Find somewhere else! Seriously! Wish we could get our money back, it would’ve been better to sleep in the car!

Bed and pillow were comfortable. Housekeeper did a fantastic job of cleaning the room while we were out. Plenty of parking spaces. There several restaurant near the hotel in walking distance. Breakfast was just a continental type so it was not that great. But it was still better than nothing. Microwave oven and refrigerator were excellent amenities. We did not use the pool but it looked nice and clean.

Also they charge a destination fee, not sure why this wouldn't be included in the hotels fee ratger than an extra aftef check out. we had no prior knowledge of this so found it very frustrating and the response from the hotel was very much we don't care!
