"Decent weather, great atmosphere."
We were greeted at the front desk of the Paradisus Punta Cana resort, and were then driven to the private check-in location. Since it was our honeymoon, we opted for the 'Royal Service' room which came with that private check-in, private use of pool and lounge area, and a butler. The private pool was really nice; I was able to drink top shelf alcohol (which was a surprise for me when we got there) and sit in one of the many cabanas. Bartenders were super nice and alert, and made some great drinks (blue label for me, frozen mojitos for her). The hotel itself was a huge compound. To get to the front of the hotel from the beach (where our room was) a shuttle or a 5 minute walk was needed. There were plenty of options for food, which our butler made reservations for us each night. Speaking of butlers - ours was Alex for the week. He made our week that much better, and we would ask for him if we ever return. Not only did he make reservations, but he handled the little things you don't think to do on vacation. I was very impressed with his ability to find us every day to make sure everything was going ok, but at the same time wasn't overbearing or hounding us. Thanks, Alex! There were some slight negatives, but wouldn't change my overall view. First, the room smelled like strong cleaning solution (bleach?) when first entering, but would dissipate after leaving the glass door open for a bit. The second would be the excursions and the people selling things.

"Very Nice Resort!"
Would've given it an excellent rating overall but had 1 issue. The mini frig in the room was warm the entire time. Called on day two of our stay but no one ever showed up. We were there 5 days. Other than that, great time, very clean property, good quality and variety for buffet food.

"GREAT RETURN TRIP TO DREAMS FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY!"
We decided to come back to Dreams 11/14-11/21, as we had stayed there in September 2014 for our Honeymoon because this place is awesome!! The staff is so friendly from the moment you step into the lobby to the moment you check out. We decided for the preferred club and i would do it everytime! Private, air conditioned, lounge with top shelf bar (Anibal and Adrian great bartenders!). Snacks and light appetizers throughout the day and concierge that will help with any of your requests! We opted to do the VIP Beach Lounge for the second year in a row and again, it did not disappoint! Carlos waited on us the whole day and actually remembered us from our Honeymoon trip! The pool is awesome with daily activities like water polo, water aerobics, and casino games. Ana, Banana, Eddie Murphy, and Benjamin Franklin were the life of the party and so happy to be there. Our favorite staff member is Esfreiddy (bartender at Baracuda Bar)! He remembered us from our Honeymoon trip as well, and to be honest, was one of the main reasons we were so excited to come back this year! Food was great as always, our favorite was the Hibachi place our last night there. All in all, we will be back in 2016 for our 2nd wedding anniversary, to have an excelente time! Thanks for everything Dreams!

You get what you paid, the hotel was recently renovated, the design and colors are very beautiful, the rooms are small, the beds are umcorfortable, they are very simple and the cleaning is very poor. The hotels are all inclusive but you can make reservations of the restaurant available in the other Riu Hotels near Naiboa. The Naiboa has buffet but the food looks the same every day, a lot of cold food and hot ones are steaks some rice and pasta. The swiming pool is ok but the bar is outside in a terrace behind them. They are a lot of European people some of them very rude. The entertainment team tries to entertain the people. You have to walk about 5 mins to get to the beach. Thet have Near the beach a terrace that you can eat and drink. You can walk in the beach and get to the other hotels and some native stores. If you are going to buy something make an offer first don't accept the prices the tell you. Also is a Disco outside the hotel you can enter free but you have to paid the drinks inside th disco is not included. Overall is a beautiful place but the environment

"overall a pretty nice getaway"
The Resort(s): Very beautiful and clean resorts Have access to both resorts (Royal Bavaro & Bavaro) Nicely spread out. Many places and activities within the resort to keep you entertained. Many choices to eat between the two resorts. The steak at the Rodeo restaurant was good. Horrible smell which I believe comes from their sprinkler system that usually comes on at night mainly around the center between the two connecting resorts. I didn't ask about it. I assumed they recycled the water from the ponds on site. The food in the Thai restaurant did not tastes like Thai. If you don't like the smell of goat or lamb, then avoid their spaghetti. Possibly from their Parmesan or Romano cheese. For the first couple of days the sales staff in the lobby seemed a bit aggressive to try to sell you stuff. The Staff: Most of the staff were friendly. A small few seemed like they were either shy or irritated with the guests. Excursions: Dune buggies-Excellent Nice long ride with two stops. A cave and a beach. I suggest bringing your own bandannas (for the dust). Otherwise. expect to pay @ $5 each. Don't wear any light color clothes or shoes. The mud will stain them permanently. A selfie stick comes in handy. Bought coconut oil from one of the stops. By the time we brought it home, there was mold inside the bottle. Speed boat ride-Excellent About 2-3 hours with two stops. Snorkeling and a quick drink in the water I suggest bringing a underwater camera such as a disposable one.

"Loved It"
We arrived at the airport at 9:30PM, December 30 2012. To transfer to the hotel we used Dominican Airport Transfer They charged us $45.00 for the van. We had group of 5 people and. Took us straight to the hotel in no time. We had our personal guide Susan meeting us along with the driver, we didn't expect anything like that, so it was a pleasant surprise. She accompanied us to the resort and also helped us to book couple tours and came to say "good buy" when we were leaving, as we used the same transportation method to get back to the airport. Very reliable and on time. Check in was fast and without any problems. We lived in the rooms 3301 and 3305, it is quite place as it is further away from all the commotion. Rooms were nice and clean. There is a bar in the rooms and soft drinks in the ridge, that got restocked every other day. There is safe, that worked just perfect and nothing got stolen from us. My teenage kids had IPODs, laptops, IPADS, you name it, everything came home safely. Lock you money, passports, electronics in the safe, it is big enough to fit it all. We were leaving small tips for the people we got to know- bartenders and maids and it would pay off, although you do not have to do it About food. We've been to a few resorts in Dominican Republic and Jamaica in the past and I can tell that food was very good. There are 4 restaurants on site, which you need to book. Hibachi and Mexican and Italian, but they are buffet style, but Steak House is full service restaurant and food was amazing. Also you have your regular buffet, that opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner, You would never go hungry It was pretty windy and the ocean was busy and noisy. We spent a lot of time on the ocean, "riding waives", some people brought small surf boards for kids and it was a lot of fun, like sledding in the winter Pool was very clean and swim up bar was busy starting at 11 AM, Entertainment Team was the best. We've been to a lot of resorts, and I can tell you, that those guys do everything possible to keep you entertained and busy since morning till night, they are the best- A+. From crazy games at the pool to archery, aerobics in the water and on the beach, latin dance lessons and nightly shows and dance afterwards, it is amazing, how those guys keep going. If you are looking for the fun- this is the right resort to book. If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer them, We had a lot of fun, it was hard to leave and looking forward to come back sometimes again
