The property is in SERIOUS need of an update!!! Things were rusty and cracked in my room. Saw areas that needed paint and a serious scrub. The check in process is very slow, and chaotic and needs to be streamlined. Spent about 45 minutes trying to check in. The staff is friendly however, many lack basic English skills so it's hard as a customer to communicate your needs. Overall 5/10. More than likely will not be staying here again.

Terrible customer service. One manager told us something and the other one said no. One man just said I wasn’t gonna get charged for something and they never put it in the system so I had to pay to get out. Had service refused to serve. Anytime I asked for something it was always a face like I was bothering them.

Ok experience…

Staff was great as we expected! Natalie took great care of all our requests and questions. The resort itself is absolutely stunning and the grounds were a beautiful site anywhere you went. The buffet was good at best. The pools were gorgeous and amazing!!! We rented a cabana one day and just WOW! What an experience of the space, the snacks (food was too good), drinks, and the activities! Every activity was so fun and entertaining! However our room wasn’t the best. The AC wasn’t great, fridge did not work, we asked for ice a couple times and never came. Room service wait was at least 90 mins or more and not anything to brag about either. The room wasn’t the cleanest in terms of towels, countertop and pillow cases. I expected a little more luxury for the room. Bed was super firm and uncomfortable and pillows were completely worn out. For what we paid per night, it wasn’t the best. We went to Vespa and Hunter for dinner and both did not disappoint. The VibeTeam was so cool and made sure every guest had fun! We paid for a night pass at Royalton Splash and that was great for their All White Party. Buffet was so delicious there too! The foam party at Chic was cancelled after we paid for the cabana rental because of the foam party.

The property wasn’t what I expected, the services could have been better. The room needs upgrading, but we made the most out of it. The Buffett had the same food everyday, couldn’t get mini bar refilled each day, part of the roof had blew off during the rain so I think with the money people spending they need to upgrade the buildings.

Honestly the food and the customer service could have been better. Lisseta, the fitness coach was amazing, I recommend her classes. forgot the name of the class, but definitely check her out at the fitness center. thank you lisseta and mr. cely, lo siento if i spelled it wrong.

Inconsistency in the staff some were great and I tipped to show appreciation. Some went through the motions didn’t seem motivated. Entertainment was lacking, no foam parties. DJ on Saturday packed up at like 4:30. Guests were friendly and we made our own fun with guest brought Bluetooth speakers but I’d expect more. The Dominican food options were nasty. I opted for whatever was being cooked fresh on the grill (omelettes, steak, salmon, chicken). Steakhouse was awful service took forever for our large party of 8. Italian was good though all the red sauce gave me heart burn. Food selections were inconsistent the pool bar wouldn’t have burgers at 1 then would have them at 3pm, weird, similar experience with the sports bar.

Very sad how much this hotel has declined.

My first stay at this hotel was for 2022-2023 new years and I was deliaghted, but in this second time the experience was totally different. The quality and preparation of the food in most restaurants wasn’t that good, except for the Sushi and Ceviches that was a top. And the worst was the air conditioner in the room, it didn’t cool enough, even we reported every day and they made efforts to solve the issue it only cool for a while and then it started to feel hot again in the room. The swim out pool of the room wasn’t cleaned daily and properly, since day 1 of our stay there was a pice of bread that someone threw for birds and it stood in the water in the same spot for the our whole 5 days stay. I didn’t use the swim out at all. Definitely not worth the price payed for upgraded Diamond swim out suite. In general this hotel has degraded its quality and service.
