It was nice overall but the dining options are limited, the best one is the steakhouse, the buffet food is just okay, entertainment is okay too but the sales talk when they are selling their membership is intense, it took about three hours because they even ate lunch w us and we kept going back and forth because we did not want it.

Well mantained property with a lot of food choices and entertainment. the piano lounge was very nice. I encountered a group of individuals who seemed determined to secure participants for the 2 hours time share presentation. many of them did not seem to respect a simple “no” when it was given. Aoso, I couldn’t help but notice a lone flamingo around the property. While I found it charming, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it might be somewhat lonely without a companion.

What’s missing out of 100 good things is workers talk too loud that often felt we didn’t relax. Too much salt in food. Carts made walking experience little annoying. Service in the beach and self service could b better a huge list of good things though. Overall we will go again

Although I enjoyed my vacation, because all I needed was the beach & a nice book to read. It was rather difficult to be at this resort. I was consistently being lied to by the staff, I felt its the culture of the resort. Upon my arrival during check in, I advised the gentleman that I’m a VIP member with Expedia and I’m to get a bottle of Wine. He assured me the bottle will be in my room. He also advised that a beach towel will be in my room and no need for a towel card. Once I accessed my room, no wine no towel. I had to call several times to follow up, it was a rigmarole roundabouts I got involved in that erased a peaceful first day. Eventually I get the wine while I’m out of the room, but no wine opener or wine glass!I have celiac disease, I verified before I booked the hotel if they accommodate gluten free diet. Yes they said. They even have allergy cards to present to staff. That was the biggest lie of them all. The concept is there in paper but no execution. First there’s language barrier then it’s the gluten part seemed hard to understand and how it’s important that there’s no cross contamination. The lack of attentiveness and sensitivity was deafening. During breakfast buffet, I was told there’s a gluten free section. Well, when I got to the section it was literally colorful lines of jello desserts for BREAKFAST. Is this a belated April fool’s joke? I could not believe it! I got really sick from “gf” For 2 days straight my rm had water leak. Ran out words ugh

Much of it was in need of repairs. And a lot of the staff didn’t seem to care to be there. I went to a room with refreshments and was told it’s for privileged only and needed to leave.

We really enjoyed this property. We stayed in the privilege area, and feel it was worth the extra money. The food really exceeded our expectations, especially in the buffet areas. We truly could have skipped the specialty restaurants and still enjoyed the food! Was in building 10 and were very happy with the room and a/c. Pools and beach were beautiful! Had to get out and reserve pool chairs by 7am, or no seats were available. This was not an issue for me, but it could be for some. Drinks were wonderful, and specifically the beach privilege bar! Carlos is absolutely amazing! Loved Daniel in the privilege pool area, and my “hey baby” guy in the privilege breakfast area! We will be back!

Baggage: Excellent service. Luis Duran was great. Grounds: The resort is well kept and looks nice. Floors are a bit slippery when walking be careful. Reception: Horrible. They have no idea what is going on. Truly ruined the experience from the start of my stay. Julio Francis was extremely rude and disrespectful. They made a discrepancy and told me that IF I relaxed he would help me. Luckily other staff members had common sense and were able to help. Restaurant: Ok. The restaurant by the beach had horrible food and looks dingy. If you’ve been to NYC City Island it’s very similar to Tony’s. So ugly. It only offers breakfast and dinner to those who are part of the privilege club. As a regular you can’t have breakfast or dinner by the beach. The buffet was ok. As an American Dominican they could’ve done a better job with the cultural food. The coffee shop is nice touch. Great spot to have a snack and relax. The ice cream needs an upgrade. Disappointing. The Beach: Horrible!! Chairs everywhere. Looks so ugly compared to other water fronts. Lacks structure. So messy. Pool area: It was nice but they don’t have anyone walking around offering drinks like in other resorts. Only those who are privilege have that service. Make sure you get an umbrella because the grounds don’t have much foliage for shade. Waiters: The highlight of the trip. They were so nice and fun to talk to. Most of the staff in the Buffett area were welcoming and friendly. Hector and Adriel were great!
