Our Premier room was excellent but the other two rooms we had for our adult children were very disappointing and spartan - not what we expected for such a high rate. The other disappointments were the lack of walking and running paths. It was very hard to go for long runs or walks that did not require going on the road. Finally the oppressive tip culture, which I do not blame on the employees, was tiring. This is the worst when going down to sit on a beach chair and really bad at Catalina Island where vendors are on you to buy jewelry, rent snorkeling gear, etc. The food was better than expected and the weather, pools and beaches very nice. The problem we had, was that we payed Four Seasons\St Regis Rates (where we usually stay, and the experience was Disney\Atlantis.

we were absolutely amazed with our entire stay. The villa was spacious and beautiful. Our daily housekeeper, Evelyn, was very attentive and served a wonderful breakfast every day. The grounds are well kept and there are many activities to do without leaving. The private beach, which we went to daily, was also great. There is literally no reason to leave the grounds. There is also plenty of shopping options, including a grocery store. Golf carts are available and make it easy to get around without a car.
