I love my pool villa en the adult side 3405. Stunning afternoon view from my private pool. The waitress brought me drinks. Had amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner right across from it at Beloved Restaurant. Fun beach party, fun white party. Room service in less than an hour.

They sell rooms like airplanes, they denden the extra tickets and don't have the seats just as they don't have the rooms that one reserves and pays for in advance... then they try to apologize, it's a shame, and that's if they don't return the money for which they are guilty, but rather they exchange it for services that one doesn't want and the rooms are not that good with bad air conditioning with very low cold water pressure and good hot water pressure, who cares about that? The same goes for the curtains that are supposedly electric and had to be moved manually and the bathroom on the second floor was unbearable, I had to baste with a water can.

Prior to arrival I emailed to have a honeymoon surprised for my wife and I didn’t get it till I went back to the front desk to get the champagne I asked for. I also followed up about a room upgrade for our honeymoon and that wasn’t done. They put a happy anniversary ribbon on our door instead of honeymoon.

Check in wasn't correct, was 4:00, when our room was ready & we were in the priveledge duplex with own pool. Would prefer they change the menus in main buffet a few nights a week. Buffet is only for breakfast in that venue and then two special buffets. Found we were always eating the same things of the menu. Grounds were nice, staff were friendly, just too bad a language barrier. Didn't use public pools. Entertainment, could be better, music was okay. Beach had lots of seaweed, but you could find spots, if you wanted to swim, which we didn't, because we had our own pool. It was our first time to a resort and we're use to cruising. At least now I know, what to expect and we'd go back, but we know we have to have this kind of room again. Overall it was okay.

Me and my partner enjoyed the outstanding service of the personnel. The attention of Leonel at the pool bar was very good. Jay and Elizabeth at the Bloved restaurant were very attentive. Anderson at the reception welcomed us nice and helped us do the check in smooth. Dominga our room keeper was very friendly. And to the other crew members that I can't remember their names but did a great job, thank you very much for your service.

The property is beautiful, full of corners to explore - relaxing spots, food places, activities...Overall, a great experience. I don't mean to cause any trouble by saying this, but based on the staff's behaviour, we had the feeling that they are either underpaid or not treated the right way. Tourists are generally polite and tip them regularly, and yet nobody smiles or looks happy. I know they value the tips a lot, but there may be things that cannot be fixed by money. This not only translates in looking grumpy, but in mistaking orders or simply not listening to the request. We visited Samana and other places and we can confirm that people look generally happy on the island.

The food wasnt great, the TV didnt work for.most of my stay there and the room service time was slow to attend to issues. The day activities in the resort wasnt always holding but the night entertainment was good. The beach and pool side were good too, but you always need to keep your space with towels.

Overall great vacation. I would stay here again. Tao Cat is our favorite restaurant. We didnt care for Sewicki. The lake area in the middle of the resort was our favorite place to relax in the hammocks, read, a listen to wildlife and fountains. Staff was friendly and attentative.

I paid extra for turndown service and a bottle of wine a day with mini bar. We stood 4 days 3 nights. We received nothing. I should be refunded and charged for a regular room, since that's the treatment we received.

Adults only side. Property was nice. Staff were super friendly always a smile. Room was clean. I had to take the mini fridge out of the cabinet to get it to cool down, if not fridge would stay hot from the confined cabinet. The a/c in the room wasn’t quite what it needed to be which made a good nights sleep difficult. The king mattress was also very very hard which also affected the sleep portion of things. Food was excellent (coming from a fussy eater) would recommend for future travellers.
